I attended a seminar and was promised 2 free gifts - a $100 restaurant gift card, 2 airline vouchers and 2 nights at one of a Marriot's, Hilton's or Hyatt's. It's a total complete scam. First of all the restaurant gift is not $100. It is 4 separate $25 vouchers sent out every couple months and you must spend at least $35 dollars to use the $25. They ask for your credit card first - we did not fall for that one.

Also, the website link that they send you for the Airline voucher and 2 night stay is not valid. I did call the phone number (855-540-9664) and spoke to someone named "Amy" who reassured me that the voucher does work and a new one will be issued. 3 weeks go by the way, with nothing yet. I called again. No answer. I figured its probably thesame as the restaurant card scheme so I'm giving up on trying to claim my "free" flights. I am glad to say we were smart enough to not fall for their crap so we only lost about 90 minutes of our lives attending the seminar but we were hoping to cash in on the flights for a vacation. I would like everyone to know that this is a complete, bold-faced lie when they tell you these gifts are free!

My husband and I were invited to attend a tourism and travel showcase attempting to get America traveling again. In exchange for our attendance we were offered (2) complimentary round trip airline vouchers. American. Southwest. United were printed at the top of the letter. They also offered a (2) night stay at one of 1000 Marriott’s, Hilton’s or Hyatt’s. Bonus: $100 dining savings card at restaurants like TGI Fridays, Black Angus Steakhouse, Bar Louie and many more.

The letter asked my husband to call the phone number mentioned above.

Received an invitation to receive 2 round trip airline tickets as part of a Missouri Tour and Travel focus group. You have to call the phone number to get in. We did not call it, so we don't have any idea what they are doing.

Received an ‘invitation” for my deceased husband to attend a travel and tourism showcase. As a “reward” for attending, he’d receive two complementary airline tickets and two nights of accommodation. Same BS. There is an Embassy Suites by Hilton logo and the rules and trademark information are listed in small print under the logo, including the statement, “Not a Time Share or Real Estate offer”. Fortunately, I didn’t call. My heart goes out to those who did.

Same as has been reported previously. In return for attending "a fun filled tourism and travel showcase," attendee would receive airline vouchers and free hotel stays. Obviously a scam, but not enough info to identify who's behind it, or what they're trying to sell.

Received the same type of letter with only the phone number and the title changed. Rich Allen is still the point of contact claiming to work for Embassy suites.
