I have received numerous calls on my business line, which is public, and nobody is on the other end. Today I said hello, then, unfortunately "Yes?" I immediately regretted this, because I do know about the scams in which the caller gets you to say "Yes," then uses that to authorize online purchases or charges against a credit card or other account. I called the number back -- 818-865-9082 - and got a recording "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in use." VERY suspicious.

I will alert my credit card companies and other accounts, but this was a stupid mistake. NEVER ANSWER "YES" TO AN UNKNOWN PERSON.
