I called the number that Google said was Verizon, but it must have been a sponsored number. It was not Verizon customer service. Harry answered the phone and told me this was Verizon (856-314-5548 was the personal number he gave me). He told me that I could pay my Oct. bill now, but if I did so he could give me a discount. (It is 15 days early). He also suggested that I could pay November's bill now for a deeper discount. I gave my credit card number for the Oct. bill, but that was rejected by my bank. He asked me to OK it, but by then I was suspicious. I called my credit card company. They found two fraudulent charges that were paid on my credit card. They also suggested that I get a new card, which I did.
