411 Tax Team claims to prepare your taxes at no cost and claim to work for the federal government. Do not let them do your taxes! I had a simple tax return done by an employee by the name of R.F. and they took over $500 of it and left me with $200. This is the scam: they say your tax return will be direct deposited into your account within a month or so (nope). Then when you start to call asking where your return is they state your refund will be less because of money owed to unemployment, a past debt, etc. They want you to go on a wild goose chase trying to find out what the problem is hoping you will give up or not look at all and just believe them. When in all actuality they have a scheme with Republic Bank to prepare your taxes for astronomical amounts of money. If someone was given ANY facts about their “fees” you would never ever sign up for this. But again, they state this is a free service. They send you a docusign that they state needs to be completed immediately. Now, remember they have already at this point told me they work for the federal government AND tell me there are NO FEES for doing my taxes. When someone tells you they are the feds you assume you couldn’t be duped. Well I was taken, duped, lied to, all the above. I signed the docusign and gave my hard earned money to the scammers. Also, they really don’t answer your calls and will duck and dodge you. R.F. finally called me after seeing I told my story on the ScamPulse.com and seriously asked me to take down my review...wow. Then R.F. tells me he is pretty much the head hancho at 411 Tax Team, laughable. At least I have a name to give people when posting my story. Also, it seems the very few good reviews on this site were posted by their own employees. My “tax specialist” R.F. Has the exact same name as one of their 5 star reviewers. I want whats owed to me and will stop at nothing to get my hard earned money back. I didn’t deserve this and no one does. They’re in the business of theft not helping.
