Paid $1, got charged $40.95

I paid for a $1 credit score check and was charged an additional $39.95 a few days later. This was while applying for a loan. I did not subscribe to anything, I literally just paid for the one time credit check. My bank notified my thankfully, asking if this was fraud, so my card is cancelled and they’re investigating. But my account was still charged. I’m 20, I just got out of homelessness, I have $60 left now to get me through two more weeks until I get my first check at my new job. Idk if I can pay rent. If I’m looking for a loan I obviously can’t afford to be scammed. There goes 2 weeks of food. Preying on the desperate is disgusting,

The representatives are all misleading and Liars. Never do what you say when you call to cancel…They act like care and will resolve your issues. But instead they are more concerned about making money…No accountability whatsoever………….Run RUN far away…I Should have read the reviews before I started the trail period. SCAMMERS SCAMMERS

Class Action lawsuit pkease.

I paid a dollar for a credit score. They charged me the dollar and a month later 39.90 with out ny authorization. I think we shoud do a class action lawsuit against this company that is making millions by scamming innocent peolpe, by charging thier accounts without permission

I was applying for a loan, and they needed my credit score (which I already knew) then 3gldscr pops up with this check your credit score for $1 which I declined but was charged as a member anyway at $39.30. I called and talked to them, they said they would refund my money. I never got it. I called back, and they say it was never said to refund my money. A big [censored] scam.

I never enrolled in anything, never had a dollar charge nor used this service let alone heard of them until I check my balance and 40$ is pending, next morning (Thanksgiving day the first one in there )pending the next day another 40$ ...I call my bank due to the holiday I called this morning...I might get my money back after 45/90 days...wow

I was trying to see my credit score then this popped up and told me to only pay 1 dollar to see my credit score, I did not signup nor have a subscription then a few days later I was getting billed for $39.90 which declined the first time cuz I didn’t have money in my cash app then I went on there website to try to cancel my subscription which I never had, it asked for my email and every time it said we sent you a reset password I never got one, then 4 days later when I had money on my cash app it took out $39.90 unauthorized and when I called their number the guy on the other end did not do anything and was no help nor canceled it, my transaction type says pending which means the merchant can adjust the amount which is very scandalous and this site is a scam and untrustworthy don’t put your info on here because you will be SCAMMED!

I was on TransUnion, and 3GldScr misrepresented themselves, this company will present themselves as apart of TransUnion or Experian, when I encountered their website I was mislead, I have found several complaints about this company on BBB, I’m going to contact Attorney General

I was going onto Experian website and 3GLDSCR page jumped up and it asks if you want to enroll in a protection plan, they conveniently leave out the line that says no I’m not interested you have to scroll up in order to see it, in doing so I must’ve hit the button that said I wanted the Credit protection, they billed me one dollar and then five days later they billed me $39.95 and then a few weeks later they did it again, when I called to have it removed they put you on hold for 30 minutes and they say they’re going to get back to you which they never do. This is a total scam this company should be close down immediately.

I used this web site sevices for almost half a year to monitor my credit score before applying for a mortgage. I got charged $39.90/month. if you see a change from this web site and you have not subscribed than probably someone got your credit cards details and all the documents needed to apply for a credit score check. Not difficult at all these days! The deep web is full of web sites selling credit cards details from all around the world.

I contacted this company for my 3 credit scores, I understood the charge to be 5.99. I got my scores. On my bank statement I saw a charge for 1.00. 5 days later I saw another charge for 39.95 that posted. I called customer service who told me that I was enrolled in their monthly protection plan which included all kinds of goodies, this that and the other. I said NO, I did not enroll in this, then went thru the process of cancelling my exorbitant subscription that was "reoccurring" by the way, which is another type of fraud by our banks. Anyway the company ended up getting $40.95 from me. Imagine that they did this successfully with 1 million people...they would pocket approx. 40 million dollars. Most people like me do not want the hassle of filing a complain for $40.95, and" just let it go" and hope for "lesson learned," However, how to avoid this??? There are a lot of online companies that do this, taking total advantage of the customer.
