Jeff Moore contracted with us to repair our roof and window from Hurricane Helene damage. He came to our house 3 times to discuss with us. We wrote him a check to cover some building materials. That was on 11/18/24. We became suspicious a month later when he began failing to return our calls or texts, then found him from a facebook group when we submitted his name and company name. He has scammed people in Catawba, Iredell, Lincoln, Caldwell and now Burke County in N.C. as well as a county in Tennessee. We recognized him from mugshot in article about him on WSOC TV
