I received a letter in the mail stating I was a 2nd place winner in the 100 Million Dollars Super Cash Giveaway Promotion and that I have won $2.5 million dollars. I received a check in the amount of $9,950.25 that was to cover insurance and attorney fees and that I should deposit this check AFTER calling the "Claims Manager" and the phone # listed.

The check for $9,950.25 looked legitimate. It's from Wells Fargo Bank N.A. and the check is from Bridgecrest Acceptance Corporation, ATTN Accounts Payable, 1720 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Suite 101, Temple, AZ 85281.

I went online to see if Bridgecrest Acceptance Corp is a legitimate company. It is. The only thing different is Bridgecrest does not have a suite # and the city is not Temple, AZ...it's Tempe, AZ.

I called PCH scam line. PCH has the ability to look up any $ amount that you may have won in the past. They verified that I had not won any money and that the check I received would definitely bounce if I deposited it. PCH suggested I not deposit the check because my bank account information might be able to be traced back to the scammers.
