A person kept calling me from said number 301-259-1783. He said there was someone trying to open a credit card in my name with my social security number and adding their name as a second person to use said credit card with a limit of 6000 dollars value name Jennifer, Marshall, which I don't know this person at all from Arizona. They went on to say that I can stop this person from opening a credit card if I pay X amount of dollars to make sure that this does not happen. They said the credit card number was ending in 8940 which I did not recognize as a credit card that I own nor do I have a credit card with ****bank. This was all said before I then hung up the phone because I figured this was a scam and that I needed to report.
