My friend filled out a job application online through indeed, which also requested referrals. He listed my number name and address under the referral. The same day I got a phone call from someone claiming to be looking for my friend and stating my friend owes this “agency” money. He threatened to find him at my house, and that he will arrest both my friend and I. He called using the number +1 (210) 343-2717 but said my friend needs to call back at the number 18669066206. I of course let my friend know right away and he told me that he filled out a job application and I put two and two together. I have the man’s voice on voicemail saved. I never spoke to him personally, and we never called him back.
