The scammer Kevin called from a 800 number to let me know that xfinity had a promotion. My bill would be 50% off if I paid 10 months in advance. Kevin said that xfinity and Target were working together to improve their sales. He said that I needed to pay with a Target gift card. I bought the Target gift card for $500 to pay. The next day I get a call from Kevin saying that the target card was fraudulent and that my payment was not processed. He said I would get a refund and that xfinity will figure things out with Target. He asked for me to make another payment of $500. That’s when I went to an xfinity store to ask about this promotion. They told me that it was a scam.
