I booked an airline ticket for my daughter for $335 . There was no ability to purchase a seat or check baggage but wasn't alarmed as previous experience had me purchase through an airline's website. After completing the transaction, I received a txt message that I needed to call a phone number to complete the transaction. When i called I was asked to verify the passenger, location and dates of travel. I was then notified I couldn't purchase a seat or check baggage. I asked why and was asked to hold for a minute. The person returned and said I could purchase these items for an additional $400+ dollars, making the ticket purchase now over $700.

Nothing on the web site when I purchased the ticket gave that information. I commented they were practicing bait and switch. They claimed other airlines were charging $700-$800 for this trip. I commented that didn't make a difference; I purchased what they were selling. Their practice was deceptive, and I would report them to the ScamPulse.com
