My Sub-Zero refrigerator needed to be refurbished. The Wilshire Refrigeration Company was recommended to me (which is a legitimate company). I looked on line for the phone number which turned out to be the scam company's number. An installer from the scam company came to the house and worked on the refrigerator (me still believing he was from the legitimate Wilshire Refrigeration Company). I gave him a $1000 check and subsequently wrote checks until I paid the $4550.

The refrigerator then ran continuously and was really cold. I called the scam company many times to come back which they never did.

Finally I called Rodeo Appliance (a reliable company) to come to properly repair my refrigerator at an additional cost of $3876.16. My refrigerator now runs properly.
