Whole Foods Market Secret Shopper

I got a text from an unknown number in a group chat of other unknown numbers saying I was selected for a random secret shopper activity. I replied and they sent a link for me to put in my information and then they sent me a fake check with a list of instructions of what to do and a number to text.

I received a official looking envelope with a check for. $ 1,500.39 I was to go and deposit the check then go to any store that sold American Express cards and buy $1000.00 with them. I got a bonus of $250 if the task was completed I less than 12 hours. I then sent a picture of both back and front to the email provided. Keep the cards to use next week in the next survey. What? I immediately googled the names and company’s associated. Thanks to everyone before me who reported this. Saved me time and aggression

Whole Foods Scam

I received a email with a link attachment. Wanted me to give them address and mail address so they can send me a check. It said to purchase gift cards for eBay at $400 a piece. And for me to buy one each week. And I would get paid $425 out of the check they send me.
I didn’t send anything. I pulled the name up first to check out if legit.And of course it isn’t. I attached a picture of text below.

I received this text message and also received a check with my name on it with an instruction letter sent to my home via priority mail; without giving away my information.

I got an email from Whole Foods Market Research telling me to go buy $2k worth of Ebay gift cards at Sam's Club. Then I would go and read off the numbers to someone at Whole Foods Market Research. I would keep about $400. "Whole Foods Market Research" sent overnight through the mail a money order for $2,400+. Then I started getting texts to see if the money order arrived and what I was going to do with it. There are three different addresses. One is on the envelope, another is on the letter (from Philadelphia), and then a third from a different city and state. I called the ScamPulse.com from help. I live in Springfield and don't want this happening to anyone else. I'm 38-years-old.
