I posted a lost ad for my cat. I got a text message shortly after referring me to a company that tracks pets. I opened the link; it went to a Facebook page for Whisker Watch. I messaged them. They asked for details and requested payment through Apple gift cards purchased on Amazon. I did further research. I found that the Facebook page has changed names 4 times since September 2025. I searched each name; they all came back with stories of scamming.
