I ordered and paid for a pair of Hoka Clifton 8's amounting to $100. Despite multiple attempts to get the shoes and/or a refund I never heard from the company. Reported to me bank for further investigation.

I had the same experience as the other reviews.

The shoes came in a battered/beaten box and just sat in there, none of the paper or form holders that normally come in a shoe box.

The quality feels really bad despite being Hoka Clifton 8s.
I didn't think too much of anything until just now when the entire underpart of the shoe just ripped off. I was just walking. I only received the shoes one week ago from today. I've lightly used them. This is really sad.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. IT IS A SCAM.

Only just seen this website after ordering trainers paid £86 which seemed reasonable as round about £100/120 in Uk .i ordered UK 7.5 which is half size bigger than I normally wear as wanted them for running . They turned up in battered box . I tried them on and felt small I did short run and knew they were not the correct size also felt cheap materials although looked as expected . Have sent email re size but will be disputing transactions with my credit card company as realise probably fake product

I almost made a purchase but the unavailable "terms and conditions" were a red flag so I came here to fi d out more. Apparently they're counterfeit so crisis averted.

I ordered and paid for two Hoka trainers, Clifton 8, amounting to under £140. These were last year's season and appeared to be at a reasonable price. The site appeared trustworthy, reputable and legit with the relevant payment methods. I noticed for two weeks that the order was stationary at Jamaica, NY. On the occasions that I emailed the site, the response was prompt, stating that my delivery was imminent. When I eventually received the tracked delivery in the UK, I only received one pair of the trainers I had ordered.
When I opened the package, the box was damaged and the trainers were clearly of inferior quality with colours bleeding into one another, dreadful stitching and substandard sole. As I was extremely suspicious of the authenticity of the trainers, I took them to the official Hoka store in London where they conducted an assessment. They confirmed that the trainers were counterfeit, substandard and likely to fall apart imminently if worn. They also indicated that the label was fake thereby indicating that the product was counterfeit. I've emailed the company to confirm that only one pair of Hoka trainers was sent and that these were counterfeit in any event. I've asked them how they intend to remedy the situation. It is worth noting that the return address is Coalville in the UK, which makes me even more suspicious that these were not issued from the US. In addition, when I've checked Companies House, it looks like the company is based in the UK.

FAKE SHOES SHIPPED IN A PLASTIC BAG WITH BUBBLE WRAP, NO RESPONSE FROM SELLER, NO REFUND

The website was one of the first that came up when I googled “Hoka Carbon X 2”, which is from last season, so expected prices to be a little cheaper than this seasons version of the shoe, the Carbon X 3, which goes for around $160. The shoes I saw on this website were listed at $75 which seemed like a reasonable price for an older shoe. They also took PayPal and Apple pay, so I felt like it was more legit because of that. They have a “trusted site” thing in the bottom corner of the page, also making it look reputable. I ordered the shoes, they took my money, then it took a couple weeks for them to come up with any kind of shipping information. USPS said the shipping label was created in Bloomingdale, Illinois, and it appeared that the package was stuck there for a couple weeks. When I finally received the package almost a month later, the shoes were in a bubble wrap package with two shipping labels on it. The one on the bottom was completely written in Chinese letters. The one on top of that had a return address in Jamaica, NY. I looked up the address on google maps and saw that it is a warehouse with Chinese letters on the outside. When I opened the package, the smell was awful—it pretty much smelled like gasoline or some kind of chemical. I have real Hoka shoes, and none of them have ever came with any kind of smell like this. The shoes themselves looked very very similar to the real thing, but the cheap quality of the insole and the misprinted label on the inside of the shoe made me suspicious, on top of the terrible smell of the shoes. The size label claimed that the shoes were a size 7 US, but a size 39 EU. The shoes fit me and I wear a size 8.5 or 9 in Hoka—there’s no way I could fit into a size 7. I contacted the company requesting a refund. They were initially very quick to respond, then took over a week to tell me where to actually send the shoes. They want me to send them to an address in the UK, and shipping will cost me $28.75…almost half of the initial cost of the shoes that they claim they will refund once they receive the shoes back. I asked if they will pay for the shipping, but have not yet heard back from them.
