We got a fax from WebEnvydns.com requesting payment for domain registration renewal. We do not use Web Envy DNS for domain registration and the price was higher than normal.

- North Branford, CT, USA

Faxed invoice for dns services was received. It included our actual DNS record information (publically available), but listed an old address on the invoice.

- Portland, OR, USA

We received a fax of an invoice for managed domain name services, we do not do business with this company.

- Beaverton, OR, USA

We received a faxed invoice billing us for $344.25 for managed domain name services. They gave us the option to send a check to their address or pay online. We have no account with them and don't use them for our web services. It looks very legitimate and nowhere does it say "This is not an invoice", like some of these scams do.

- Ontario, OR, USA

Receive a faxed invoice from WebEnvy for a domain that belongs to our local city. We do not have a domain.

- Olympia, WA, USA

mailed an invoice to small farming business in Kentucky claiming a bill for a non-existent domain and website. The owner of the business reached out to me (webmaster for the farm) and I verified this is a phishing scam.

- Gold Beach, OR, USA

Bogus Invoice from this scammer.

- Oregon City, OR, USA

Our division in county government received a suspicious invoice over fax from Web Envy DNS. A simple Web search immediately brings up multiple results describing Web Envy DNS as

a scam. Our county government has no affiliation with this company. Any legitimate vendor knows the correct division to contact in the county government.

- Portland, OR, USA

An invoice was faxed to our business for Managed Domain Name service and DNS services. We have never used and will never use this company (if they even exist). There are multiple sites warning about this scam, don't fall for it! It looks legit from a business standpoint. If they are for real, who would want services from a company that uses this kind of method to get customers!!

- Clackamas, OR, USA

We received a faxed invoice from Web Envy. We do not have an account with them, but the invoice included an account number and a total (after a 10% discount) of $344.25 for a domain that is provided through a different vendor that we've used for years. I did try to call the number, and was sent to voicemail after a time. I did not leave a message.

- Columbia, MO, USA

We're a non-profit and we received a faxed invoice with our name, an account number, our address and everything was correct. The scammer DID apply a 10% annual subscription discount to the invoice and they charged sales tax. The invoice amount was $344.25 and they even offered an easy way to pay online.

- West Monroe, LA, USA

WebEnvy DNS pretends to be you DNS vendor. They send an invoice hoping to scam money from accounting departments unfamiliarly with internet services.

NOT our vendor. Dubious business practices, and a SCAM. All of them deserve to be arrested for theft.

- Lawton, MI, USA

Our school district received an invoice over fax from Web Envy DNS. According to search engines this is a known scammer. We have no affiliation with this company.

- Oroville, CA, USA

Our church received a bill in the mail for "Managed Domain Name Services" - I am the tech/communications director, and this isn't a company we have used, so we looked into it and don't have an account or services with them now nor at any point in the past. I looked up their "whois" for their domain, and their admin is based in Canada. The whole things just seemed odd. We have received sales and offers that make it look like a bill, but if you look close they say it is an "offer," but this is completely scamming making it look like you owe their business money.

- Mohawk, NY, USA

We received an unsolicited fax from a 'company' identifying themselves as Web Envy DNS. The fax was an invoice for Managed Domain Name Services.

- Potsdam, NY, USA

Upon receipt and having no knowledge of this vendor I performed a Google search for the business, address, etc. Numerous reports of these faxed invoices being a scam. Agency's domain is provided through another vendor.

- Santa Rosa, CA, USA

On 10/16/2024 We received an invoice for $344.25 for 1-year renewal for "Managed Domain Name Services". It includes sales tax 6.25% and provided a pay online site "webenvydns.com/pay". I happen to know this is not the company we do business with but other people in my office have fallen prey to these types of scams, so it was lucky I saw it and not them.
