This is a big scam . My story is very similar to those before me. In 2019 the lights flashed on my computer telling me to call the number. At this point in my life I had been a widow for about 4 yrs. I was trusting and vulnerable...still am. I was scared when I called the number. I spoke with a man who said his name was Baruch.
Move ahead to 2023 , another call . This time it was claimed that I'd signed up with them and he told me at the end that we could work it, because of my situation pay a sum to be covered for life and he had me pay through various sources. I thought that was it.
However recently,2024, I recieved a call from Jack and messaged that I could opt out of the program by calling free of charge to me . I called and by the end of the call was shown that I owed a large amount that I could pay in what I owed them since 2019... What...But I paid the check part and the rest the wanted in Credit Card payment. As I proceeded with this my credit cards wouldn't work. So we couldn' t do it . He had me call the credit card company to open the account.and it couldn't be done. So through his intimidating me etc.. I got them to wait for me to recieve my new credit card .
After this a number of days later I recieved call after call from them daily from a variety of numbers and names of Reps. I did not answer .
I found this site, and my eyes were opened.
I never saw the checks go through at my bank and then suddenly one showed up as pending. I called my bank and they had me come in and talk with them. They were wonderful. They had me open a new account and close the old. Blocked the checks etc..
Things seemed better then tonight after checking the bank earlier and seeing all of the ma
money returned, It now showed that half of it was pending to come back out to the company. Some how they got into my new account!
I am so hurt, angered and frustrated!
I have a man coming in tomorrow to work on cleaning my computer and installing a new one. I told him why and that the Company was Web Security Global and he was very aware of them and not in a good way.
So WSG is not trustworthy. They need to be stopped!

My 70+ mother received a call from ‘Raymond’ at Web Security Global saying she needed to do some intrusive cancellation process over zoom otherwise she’d be billed $1500. They said she bought firewall protection for $300 in 2019 of which she does not recall. They provided what CC she used and the first 6 digits. That card is no longer active so we’re hoping she isn’t automatically billed without going through this cancellation process. I requested something in writing and was told that wasn’t an option. The # provided to call back is 800-809-5503.

In 2019, I had a message display on my computer, and I panicked and called the phone number on the screen. I wanted the issue resolved, and only that issue resolved. I paid whatever the fee was at the time and thought that was the end of it. These Web Security Global [censored] then called me in 2022, indicating I had a two TIER contract. They said I agreed to pay $1,799.99 each year from 2019 through 2024, for contract A. I talked to one of their fake collection agents, he called himself "Alex Smith". I negotiated with "Smith" and reluctantly paid $3,400 in the hope I was ending this nightmare. Now, within the last week, I received a call from a "Jennifer Morgan", regarding part B, which supposedly runs from 2020 through 2027, another $1,800 per year from 2020 through 2027. I negotiated with "Morgan" and paid $3,800. Thus, I have lost $7,200 to these [censored]. Why would I want to pay a cumulative $3,600 per month for computer protection for an $800 computer? These [censored] deliberately did not disclose their intentions initially. They come after you years later. Please investigate these [censored] and shut them down for good.

I got a mallard on my lap top Microsoft told me to go to this crowd , they pushed and pushed to get this and ,and to be honest I don't remember how much, this cost 1500 Euro, 2 years later they looked for another 1500 I said I didn't want it anymore but they would cancell everything once I had paid which I did, there was more but then last October 2022 the looked for anorher 1500 for again full and final payment, wouldn't show the contract until I had paid, I discovered there were 2 more bits in the contract, tried to ring ther but there numbers are not recognised, emailed no response, 2 weeks later I gor a phone call telling me the contract was signed and there was nothing they could do about it, there ringing me constantly now looking for 3,000 again for full and final payment. My laptop got broke last November and I haven't replaced it, I now believe I have been scared for the last 7 years, and am blocking there numbers as they ring. I r eally don't know what else to do. Please help.

I got another call from these clowns! Apparently, I had Web Security Global in 2017. Web Security Global is a part of Windows. I bought my computer back then so for all I know it had Web Security Global, but I never knew a thing about it! I was polite to them when I asked them to stop calling me. I got two call backs--numbers with names. I called them back and left polite messages basically telling people their phone numbers had been stolen.

NEVER, and I repeat NEVER, give your personal information (as in Social Security Number) to a stranger over the telephone. If they mention a credit card, ask them to tell you the last four digits. This way you can see if they really have your personal banking information. If they tell you the same numbers that are on your card or you're suspicious, call the Credit Card company and IMMEDIATELY cancel the account. Open a new account and remember that you to tell it to everyone who uses the card to bill you.

I have WebRoot through Best Buy. I'm going to have them check out the Web Security Global on Windows.

They threatened me with owing $10,000 also. If I paid the $1499.99 cancellation I wouldn't hear from them again. LIES! I have heard from several different people and various phone numbers. I have blocked them all but they are relentless, keep calling. They claim that there will be an automatic renewal if not called and canceled.

I am in the same boat ,for the last 7 years and I just can't get rid of them, they have cost me thousands. There always this is the last time, and another bit of a contract appears.

I too have been a victim of this company. They got us for a couple of thousand because I got scared. I have what they call a No Obligation Certificate confirming cancellation. This was in October of 2022. Now they have started calling again saying renewal is 1499.99. I have been ignoring their calls but after seeing all these other complaints will remind them of their "Certificate".

Back in 2018 I paid this company for web security after their phone calls to me say my system was hacked. Then in 2022 they constantly harassing me with calls and I gave in to $4000. Now in 2023 I'm being harassed with calls saying I owe $10,800 for services or pay $1500 for cancelation. I refuse to give in to their demands and will not answer their calls. Something needs to be done to this company. I already reported it to the Federal Trade Commission.

I have been receiving messages from this Company. Saying the same garbage as other people have written on here. $1500 for a yearly rate for their Services. They wouldn’t give any information about themselves. And Harassing me about putting a block on my bank Account. Even threatening me Personally. Something needs to be done about this Company. I will not confirm to their demands. Glad to see other people have commented on this Scam.

Out of the blue these people started calling me. The second time they called (right after I sent them to voicemail the first time) I answered and knew it was a scam immediately. They claimed I had software on my computer that I know I do not and that it's time for a renewal because my three years was up.

I asked them when the first purchase was and they gave me a date of 4.5 years ago. Told me I owed them $1500 and was I ready to pay now. Of course I said no and told them I knew they were scamming. They were aggressive with me, urging me to open my computer. I hung up, blocked them. They called three more times from a different number each time after that. (a total of 5 times that day) I blocked every number. This all happened on a Saturday.

They left me a voicemail saying they were going to charge my bank account on file if I didn't call a number to cancel. Then they called me on Monday six times! From a different number every time and I blocked each one again.

They had my full name and email address. I have blocked 11 different phone numbers from the same "business". I have not heard back since Monday, which was yesterday.

This company has harassed me -last year and again this year. Larry year I was afraid not to play them even though I was sure I had never signed this contract they said that I had with them. Then yesterday they started again. I told them I didn't believe I had this contract. They said if I reported them they would win because I signed this contract. They took me through what I need to do to get their "product"off my computer. Then, when this was completed, the person, John Strong? said I offered them over$10,000 and could not get out of the contract unless I paid them. I hung up and then was harassed by multiple phone calls. They had already called us illiterate.

Insist I owe over$10,000 for week security contact that I did not sign. They won't stop calling. Last year I paid them over $2, 000 to them, but they said that was a different account. They would not let me get out of the fake contract unless I paid. When I said I couldn't, and hung up. They called me multiple times. Called me illiterate. I do not answer but they continue to call.

I paid around $2,000 last year in order to be released from a contract that I did not sign but they insisted I had. Then yesterday they began harassing me, calling multiple times. My husband got any and the caller called him illiterate! I went through everything I was told to do so I could not longer receive their"services"! At the end they said I offered over $10,000 and they wouldn't stop the contract unless I paid! I hung up at that point. They tried at least 10 times too call me back and harass me

Trying to scam 3000 off me for me to cancel my contract on my computer saying should have been 9000

We keep getting calls stating that 3 years ago we paid for service at $299 and is now up for renewal at $1500. We said we didn't want it but they said we need to speak to their cancellation department to stop charge, which we won't do. Multiple calls daily.

I keep getting voicemails from Web Security Global stating that they will renew my service (today it was Network Firewall Security for a 6 yr. contract) at a cost of $1800 as per contract unless I call them at 1-866-386-1134 to cancel my service. The one who left the message states his name is Jerry Wilson but he seemed to have an Indian accent. I can call to make changes or to cancel. If they don't receive a response from me the cost will be taken from my account. He aIso identified me by my full name. I will receive documentation on registered email and billing address. I have received them before but they were rare. I had I believe clicked on an online pop up for internet security and paid for a 1 year service back in 2015. When I first got this I thought it was from that company. I kept the email I received back then and it was a different name so I ignored it, assuming it was a scam. That email also stated I would not be contacted for automatic renewal. These voicemails were rare but now they started up again since last December and have not stopped. The messages state there will be an automatic renewal but the price given changes. They have given different dates for when I used their service as well. In one message they gave my name and email address.
