Offering an extended warranty I have refused time and time again, they have even call my 79 year old mother to see if she will get the service without my knowledge.
I have requested these people to stop calling me, I have moved. And they still know were I am. I believe this is truly a Scam and the dealership and DMV are part of it how did they obtain my information and they know my every move. I don’t need this service! When I purchased my used car I was taken to a room and convinced to purchase a warranty for 4000.00 which I was unable to use ever. I am not going to continue to give anyone free money I don’t have. Especially for something I could never use!
How can I get this people to stop harassing me

I received the same letter in the mail today. Almost word for word compared to the letter above. it knew my year and make of my truck and also offered the Platinum level plan. my truck is less than two months old and already has the extended warranty from the dealership.

they sent a warranty services request with my name. They have the year of my vehicle , address and phone number in their system. They tried to get me to make payments over the phone to get an extended warranty on my car. they was pressuring me try to put a down payment. They tried to give different payment options like the first buyer program. After i decline payment because it seemed very off the guy hung up the phone on me.

A letter came in the mail from the listed business saying:

"

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED

ATTENTION: (my name),

Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have the vehicle service contract for your 2015 / Fiat / 500 updated. You are receiving this notice to ensure no lapse in warranty coverage. Warranty expiration is based on the mileage and age of your 2015 / Fiat / 500. Call now to update your coverage.

Please call 1-877-433-5022

To initiate your form online, you may also go to your personalized website created just for you:

www.auto-expiration.com/(my name separated by a period between the first and last name)

By neglecting to replace your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you still have time left to activate your service contract on your vehicle before it's too late. No vehicle inspection will be required.

Your file on this vehicle will be deleted and you may no longer be eligible for this offer regarding service coverage after 2/5/2017"

It then goes on to say that I am approved for platinum coverage as a special limited time offer and that I better call no later than 2/5/2017.

It also list their operating hours as: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 7:00 CST & Sat 9:00am to 3:00pm CST

I got the same thing only the number was changed to 1-877-505-4119 and they no longer provided a website to go to, but the letter read exactly the same and the mailing address was identical. I immediately thought it was a scam but I called to see if it was obvious. There is no phone directory or anything that indicated WHO I was calling, it just said "You will be connected to a representative shortly." There was very professional good quality music so for a minute I thought maybe I was actually calling someone legit until I got connected with my "representative". She sounded very professional and like she knew what she was doing, however when I gave her the owner ID which came with the paper she said her system wasn't loading and that she needed the make and model of my vehicle. The letter claimed that the make and model of my vehicle was a Volkswagen / Mazda / Toyota (only one of which I currently owned). I gave her that information and said that is the make and model of my vehicle per the letter and she wasn't too happy about that. She told me she needed the specific vehicle information to which I told her I was not going to give her any more information than what is in this letter. As a note I have bought all of my vehicles second-hand from private individuals so it does not even make sense that would be offered any sort of warranty and when I let her know this, she acted like she could not fathom how I had never heard of this before. We went back and forth and eventually, she said "Well if you're not gonna help me I can't help you." She then got very frustrated and said that she's bought multiple vehicles from private individuals and always gotten warranties on them which I obviously didn't believe. She concluded with an "I'll call you back when your profile loads" and I was like okay and we hung up. They obviously didn't call me back. So I'm pretty sure this is a scam like you said, I'm just confirming it for others who might be looking at this thread like I was.
