I received a priority mail envelope with a check for 2,445.50 and was told to purchase 5 Walmart gift cards for 200.00 each at one store and the another 5 for the same amount from another store, was told to take 400.00 for myself with a wage bonus of 100.00 that this covered all expenses and they wanted to see how to store reacted to my purchases. Than to text the number provided with pictures of the gift cards and to scratch the silver strip off too. They wanted me to purchase a cashiers check for 20 for the kidney foundation because they believe in giving back, I’m glad I did my research before cashing the check or falling for this scam. Thank you to everyone who alerted the rest of us.

Sent me a check for 2445.50. Said to get 5 $200 Walmart gift cards from one store and do the same for another store. For me to keep $400 & get a cashier's check for $20 made out to Kidney Foundation. Scratch off each gift card and send a picture of the numbers and text then to the phone number I listed.

Who can I turn this in to...I keep getting annoying messages asking if I've deposited the check and to let them know how things were going and if I was fulfilling my obligation and it also says "Do Not Respond To This Email" but I've on many occasions responded to their number to which we are suppose to send our info...but they never have messaged me back. I don't want to block them yet just in case I need it as proof but I no longer want this freakin check either. Any advice will be forever appreciated!

I received a letter from MCA Survey Group for mystery shopper at a local Walmart Store and a cashier's check for 2445.50. Contact person: Henley Watkins, phone number: 510-358-8255. I realized after researching, that it was a scam.

I received a letter by priority mail with a check for $1950 asking me to purchase walmart gift cards from 2 different walmart stores. Then send them pics of front and back (scratched) sides of the cards. Then I was supposed to write a report of my experience and email it to [email protected]. I had been looking for work from home work so I assumed that this was something I had checked out online. I tried to cash the check and thankfully they told me they couldn't cash it because the numbers were printed crooked.

Just got same offer yesterday. A $1,950.00 check sent to me with instructions of multiple purchases of gift cards from Wal-Mart. Do Not cash that Check folks.. Of course they require you to text completion and photos of all scratched off gift card #$ for their personal use I imagine. Then after your bank catches bad check you have to reimburse bank for all the gift cards.. There's [censored]ty people out there folks just looking to feed off another's misfortune. Good Luck

Received a priority mail 2 day from PJ Beiter Coins at 208 Pine St. Williamsport PA 17701. Inside was a check for $1,470. It had a paper stating to purchase 6 gift cards from Wal-Mart . To do so I had to cash the check at my back keep 240$ and another 20$. It's the 2nd time I've been contacted from them for a secret shopper assignment I never applied for.

I just received the survey letter and the check for $2,480.00 to do a gift card mystery shop at 2 different Walmart locations. Mind you my cashier training from years of working as a cashier went into full swing, if you look at the check O received you can clearly see it was printed upside down. So glad I didnt do anything with this check.

I just received the Wal-Mart Mystery Survey by MCA Survey Group.Im so glad that I decided to investigate this one too. The check was for $2480.00. The first survey I received was from another group except they wanted me to deposit the check in my bank account. This groups name is Capita Outsourcing. So beware of them too.
