He started a project on our sunroom we paid him already 2/3 ($5,000) of the total. He spent about $1,000 on material and ghosted us and took our $4000 and ran. He barely started and did a horrible job already (other contractors took a look after and were shocked at his work) we asked him nicely to bring us back our materials and our money back or we will call our lawyers and report him to the better business bureau. No answer from him. I have pics and proof of his work and what he left us with an empty hole in our house. He was in the Nextdoor neighborhood app commenting on people's post for hire while we are waiting on him for weeks just to come back to finish what he started. Excuses and lies from the start. He is not responding to our calls or messages and took our money and left us with a big hole in our house
