Got a call from this number and said it was Visa calling w/ new information. The caller ID said Texas Furniture so I called them and they said the number was their service line but they did not make that call to me. I then called the ScamPulse.com who confirmed it was caller ID spoofing

continuous calls claiming to be Visa.

Press 1 to speak to attendant

They don't identify themselves.

When asking to be removed from list they just hang up

Asked for visa number and social security in order to lower interest on my card.

Received a phone call stating it was from Visa and I was eligible for a substantially lower interest rate. However, if I didn't press "1" now to talk to a representative that my card would be canceled. Needless to say I didn't press "1".

Says a credit application was ran at Epcot for $45k. Says part of class action and going to get $3,800. Asked when fed ex can drop a package off for me.

Number called me to say due to my payments being on time they can offer lower interest and bonus reward points. When I said I don't have a credit card they hung up on me. I tried to call back and it said that its not a working number.

Caller stated that my Visa had been charged at Western Union for 600......".have you got your card there or has it been misplaced".

I hung up when I realized my card was safe in my usual place and I had not used it recently.

The call came at 6:30 am.

I called VISA to confirm no charges and report Scam...they were not really interested in my story.

I received a phone call from someone stating someone put money on my Visa. As soon as I told them I don't have a VISA they hung up on me.

I continue to get phone calls from (434)441-xxxx and each time the last 4 digits of the phone number change. The most recent call was received on my cell phone (my personal cell phone # is 434-441-7029) at 10:09am from 434-441-9742. I got the call to last 3 minutes by dragging the conversation on. They wanted to "lower my interest rate" on my credit card, when I asked for a callback number I was given 1-800-847-2911.

Today morning 06:09 am a man called me and he said he is *** *** from the visa fraud service, and he asked me if I sent 600 dollars to India via Western Union. I said No I did not sent any money. Then he said he will stop the transaction right away and he was asking my card number. Now I get suspicious, and I asked if he have my new address, and yes he had it. Then I asked him if I can call him back. He said yes you have the number at the back of your card, but hurry up because the transaction will go through very soon. I called my bank right away of course was no any charge on my card.

Received phone calls from both Ohio and Florida concerning a lowering interest on my credit card. They ask for my credit card number, expiration date and then ask for $398 to process the lower interest. The incoming numbers were Ohio 614-783-9871 and Florida 727-854-1236. When they asked for money, they were told no and they immediately cussed at me and hung up. I immediately called my credit card company and cancelled my card. Just want people to be aware of this scam.

We received a phone call last week regarding owing money and mediation/arbitration. Today we got another phone call from the same number and that we owe $2,225 on our Visa but they did not say what is was for but he kept saying I would get it in the mail. They had our mailing address and the last 4 digits of my husband's social security number.
