A female called as an employee of a Veteran Services Organization. She specifically asked for my husband by name and referenced my email address from July looking for information and regarding veteran benefits. I told her my husband had passed away so she ask me if I was using any durable medical equipment for any illness or injury. I told her "no" and she told me to call 800-827-1000 and then just hung up. I believe the number she gave me was a VA number in Boston and they do not deal in durable medical equipment, they are an information center for the VA. Then she just hung up real fast.
