My daughter was called said it was Verizon. Someone had ordered a phone and an iPad on my account using her phone number and she said it was fraud was not OK.

My two daughters and I share the same Verizon Wireless account. They texted me and my two daughters separately saying they were Verizon and would be calling each of us on each of our phones to verify / authenticate recent account information. Then they called each of us three times almost continuously leaving one voicemail telling us to call back to a certain number. Non of us responded to the text and one of us answered but then realized it was a scam because they said “Thank you for answering my call!” So she hung up immediately!! Also I listened to the voicemail they left on my phone and you could hear that they were calling from a big room filled with other scammers making calls at the same time! Very noisy background!

I looked up Verizon to have my daughter call to try to get some info on her current bill. She told me how their conversation went and it didn’t make any sense to me. He said the bill was going to continue to go up but if she wanted to buy a router and switch to spectrum it would be closer to what she was originally paying for with Verizon. He was also telling her, “don’t stress” but you bill is going to go up and kept saying don’t stress. All of these things sounded fishy. I called myself AFTER talking to versizon and getting her bill figured out. They said yes, we passed a promotional price( I knew was not true) we just started this service. Plus I’m not authorized to speak to them on her behalf. Verizon wouldn’t talk to me about the account without her. The scam company also said they were an affiliate company. They work for all the phone and internet companies. At first I said, is this Verizon and all he would say is, you’re calling the right place.

This number called, showed up as Verizon. Said the line was being recorded and asked if I was "my name." I said yes. They asked about the current Verizon promotion, but I said I wasn't interested. So, they said if I changed my mind I could go to a Verizon store.

Received fraudulent invoice for a direct dialed operator assisted call from an account number and phone number not associated with me. It was a small amount $7.95 to be paid to MCI a Verizon Company PO Box 600674, Jacksonville Florida 32260-0674.

Male voice said they were calling from Verizon and wanted to offer a special where I could get 4 lines of service for the same price as 3, as well as some free phones and he asked if that was something I was interested in.

I received an email from "Verizon " saying that my email address was changed and if it wasn't me to click on the "contact us" button or call them immediately. I clicked on the button but it looked kinda weird so I called and the phone number was connected to a name of John Kiick. I just hung up and started researching.

Caller ID indicates Smokaroma, a company that manufacturers instant burger machines, but caller said he's calling from Verizon. Caller spoke some English and some Mandarin. I told him he had the wrong number.

They called saying they are Verizon and saying my bill is overdue and that i owe $135.00 Which is not true. My bill is never that amount and i looked on my Verizon app and I'm paid up for this month.

I received a call at 9:52 pm from someone claiming to be Verizon saying that my services have been shut off and asking for my password to open my account.

I received a text saying that my bill for Verizon was paid. ( i actually have xfinity which uses verizon) offering a survey and getting a smart health watch for the cost of shipping. I called xfinity and they said they have nothing like that going as a promotion to their clients. Pays not to respond to things like this. I had a feeling this was a scam. I got a hold of the company and was told they would ship the product but

there is additional fees per month once the watch is receive from the factory. They give you a coupon to use in their store. I told her to cancel. I guess will see what happens. Never again.
