I was excited to buy a Life is Good t-shirt for a friend that was not available from the Life is Good website, so I did not do due-diligence and quickly made a purchase with my credit card on another website. It looked like it was a US company, but then I received an email that it was coming from China and could take 4-6 weeks. I thought that was strange, but went with it. When they sent me a tracking number, the site they said to use for tracking, I discovered required me to download an app. Luckily, I was smart enough not to do that. My phone shows when a package is being delivered, and it said it was today, but not to the state of the address where I asked it to be sent. I then tried emailing, and that email was no longer valid. I tried calling the number of the company on my credit card bill, which was stated as a different name: LUTHEAUSTIN.US, and that phone number was no good. I then started googling and discovered that the tracking app was a scam to hack into my computer. I then also read another person's report about this company on this ScamPulse.com website. The purchase was for $20.23, but my credit card company is refunding my money and starting an investigation.
