I was attempting to transport my vehicle and was contacted on the phone by someone claiming to be Mike at best car shipping. He arranged to have my vehicle picked up and charged a $50 deposit and the remain $199 would be paid upon delivery of the vehicle however when the date came, I did not hear back I called them and they stated they would have to change the date. I said I wanted a refund and they threatened to have me pay a $200 cancellation fee. When I refuse they stated they would cancel my Social Security number I hung up then another individual called me back said they would be managers I hung up then another individual called me back and said they were the owner of the company all three individual sounded like the same person. They continue to threaten me with a $200 cancellation until I told them I would gladly go to court over it. Needless to say this is a fake company.

Dorell Holdings LLC Scam

I contacted Sherpa Auto Transport LLC to dispatch my car transport,. Somehow the job got hijacked and they actually posed as the company I hired. He charged me a driver holding fee and said he would credit me once the car was delivered.. I didn't find out that this guy was a crook until the original company I hired called and told me they had a driver... Well, my car had already been delivered and I was out an additional $295.00. The fraudulent company was Dorell Holdings LLC. Registered in Wyoming. Phone 561-298-4293, DOT: 3745258, MC: 1327336. Burner phone from Mass. 617-545-7642, Contact on Central Dispatch contract Steve Linden Phone 307-409-6707. Once I found out who it was, I found multiple complaints on their practices online. My concern is why would Central Dispatch continue to allow scammers like this to access the board when they know they rip their customers off... I called Sherpa to report this, but they didn't seem interested in helping me resolve the monitory loss or to stop this from happening to others. The guy had my information, so I can't rule their involvement out. The Dispatcher in question was threatening the driver after I found his information and started tracking him. Description of experience below:

I needed a carrier/shipping service for a car gift I got from my in-law to be shipped from Conyers, GA to Houston, TX. I searched online and a representative of Dorrel Holdings (with phone number; 307-409-6707) reached out to me on the phone. He said his name was Tom. We agreed on a price of $480 as the total shipping cost, 50% to be sent on the day of pickup and the balance at delivery. After the conversation, I sent a text to confirm the cost again and he acknowledged that the cost was only $480. On the day of the pickup, he called my wife to say that the car will be picked up and asked to send $340 via the cash app to $shippingsolutions066. My wife questioned the amount as it was not 50% of the agreed cost and asked him for the total cost again and he again confirmed that it was $480. She however went ahead to send the $340 on Thursday 06/22/2023.

On Saturday 06/24/2023, he contacted me via text and said I was to pay the driver $600 on delivery and I was confused. I responded that my balance was only $140. He said that we have to pay $600 to the driver to get the car. I called his number several times and he didn’t pick up his calls anymore. He has not responded to my calls ever since. I never received any invoice for this service.

This company is the Worst!!! I had over 30 companies reach out to me to transport my vehicle from NC to FL and the representative Paul quoted $375 for the delivery. I paid it in advance via Cash App and the day of the pickup, after signing a contract of $375 with a deposit of $125 and the driver of the tow truck would be paid $250 cash, He representative Paul texted and ignored my calls but the rudeness and unprofessionalism of these con artist company stated i have to pay the driver for gas money lol ... Excuse me. We signed a contract, and they breached the contract and threaten to not get my vehicle. I informed them of the bait and switch, and I could have gone with any company to haul my vehicle and I would not have experienced these con Artist practices. The manager Garry refunds my money and then they attempted to send another contract now saying $475 to pay... Please don't waste your time with these people very nasty and Rude!!! they had the tow truck driver still get my vehicle when I told them to refund me and then, some Big Man sounding aggressive woman I imagine from the company calls me at 9:30pm at night demanding I pay and screaming in my ear without giving her name. She got a nice couple of words from me, for hanging up in my ear without properly introducing herself, then sends me a threaten message in text saying pay or ill charge you $50 a day in my tow yard!!! Real Losers! I encourage you to spend your money and time where its valued!!! They lie and steal and cheat their customer's period! Those reading you have been warned! Very nasty people! Disgrace to the industry, nasty people.
