I had a very similar experience to all the other posts here with this company. I ordered the straightener from an advert on Facebook for £23.74 back in February. When it arrived with the foreign plug, I emailed them and told them about the plug and they told me to give it away or sell it. I told them it's useless in the UK with this plug, so no one would want to buy it or receive it even as a gift. They offered me a 20% refund, what a damned cheek. As the others have said above, they told me they don't pay for returns, but they would refund the amount I paid if they received it back. It cost me £13.45 for postage including tracking. Now they have received it, they told me in an email this morning, that before they can refund me, they have to check the condition of the package. I returned it in the package they sent it in, wrapping it very well. I have written them endless emails complaining reminding them it was their error and why should I have to pay return if it was their error. I have told them this has caused me stress and made me ill. They answer every time saying, 'Sorry we have caused you troubles', but of course have no intention at all of compensating me. I have threatened them with legal action, but I think this would be very costly to me. I have told them several times, they are just a bunch of thieves. They reply with apologies, but of course still won't refund my money. So today I have posted similar to what I have typed here, on my Facebook page publicly so absolutely anyone can see it and be warned, and have also posted the same on my Nextdoor hub. I have had many replies telling me never to buy anything from China, especially when advertised on Facebook. But when you see the ad and place your order, you have no idea exactly where it is coming from until you discover you have been scammed. I have learned a very hard lesson and will never buy anything from China again. They are just a bunch of ruthless scamming thieves. My advice to everyone here is just NEVER buy anything advertised on Facebook, or indeed anything from China

Similar to other posts, I ordered a baseball advertised on Instagram however the photos were blurry and writing was illegible. Only offering full refund following paying shipping and customs at my expense, costing more than the product itself.

I paid $55 Canadian dollars for the women’s linen blouse.
I received a nylon blouse without labels indicating the composition, the name of the company, the fabric was of terrible quality, and the model did not match the description on the site at all. They won't give you a full refund; instead they recommend you to keep the blouse and give you offer a 20% refund as compensation which I refused. Their website is https://www.girlladies.com/.

Order No. BTU21328. Order placed 9/8/21 and after waiting for 1 month to receive my wreath, what I received is NOTHING like what I ordered! Used PayPal to pay $43.94. Including pics of what was pictured and what I received. What I ordered is the png. image and what I received is the jpg. pic.

Exactly the same experience for me for the same very stinky plastic wreath! I have been fighting with my major credit card company for MONTHS to get a refund. I tried negotiating with the company via email first and the best they would offer (after I got sufficiently agitated) was 30% and keep the piece of crap. I declined and went to my credit card for assistance in early October. Opened a case and snail mailed them pictures of the ad versus what I got and a printout of the emails with the company. I've had three calls with different people at the credit card company over the months and finally had a "manager" call me last week to move ahead on the case. I was told it would be 2 billing cycles to complete (back in October). I just got a letter in the mail today - they are denying my refund after all of this because of a "no refund cancellation policy that was agreed to when making the purchase". I don't recall any such policy being presented at all. Even if it was, I didn't cancel the order - I am trying to send it back because it's not what was presented for sale! If anyone else has managed to get a refund through their credit card company, please reply. I think my credit card is just washing their hands of my case without really pursuing the refund. I had a hard enough time getting anyone to pay attention to it and it's suspect that they sent the letter out only one week later. This isn't right. Will post to my social media, as well.

I got the same thing today. And it smells...I will just throw in in the garbage. It's so gross! Are you going to send it back or how do you go about asking for a refund?

Same thing happened to me and I got a very similar UGLY wreath that I could get from the dollar store. So frustrating!

What I ordered was not what I received. The only way they are offering a refund (or 20% compensation if I keep the wreath) is if I ship back to China and they gave a bogus address: "VANGO GROUP, 11TH FLOOR ANHUI KUAJING DIANSHANG CHUANGXIN CHANYEYUAN AT THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF HUGUANG ROAD AN QINYUAN ROAD, SHUSHAN DISTRICT" UPS laughed when I asked them about shipping it back. The nice pic is what I thought I was getting and the others are what I received. Do not order from them, it's a complete scam.

Please watch out for these scammers. The products they adverstise are way different from the actual. Please don't waste your money. I paid $79 Canadian dollars for the crappy bag I received and they won't give you a full refund, instead they recommend you to keep the bag and give you 25% discount which I refused. But I thanks God I found this site which is helpful for me not to send back the product back to China. I probably would spend more than the amount of the bag. Their website is dbrmarket. They adverstise donney and burke bag but the actual is not, it's terrible quality and the smell inside is like a dried fish, awful! Please be aware! By the way, they won't tell you where the shipment coming from no return address.

Facebook should allow VanGo Group to sell anything. I have learned my lesson! I purchased a garden welcome sign, and finally over a month and half later I received it. Not only was it the wrong breed of dog, the metal stakes that go into the ground to secure it were rusted and the quality of the product was so cheap! I disputed with PayPal and I received an email from the seller saying that they would refund me 10%. I said I wanted at least 90%, they came back with 30% that was the final offer, and they told me to ship the product back to China! I finally received my full refund from PayPal. I agree with another person that has left a complaint on this site; always see where your item is being shipped from.

This company is a scam. I've been trying to get a refund now for 6 months. They operate in a very clever way. I purchased a Audi top and they provide a US sizing chart. When the item arrived it was a childs top, cheap and a counterfeit. I sought a refund and after three months they agreed. I sent the item with tracking and it was with China Post awaiting collection. They said they'd provide a full refund once they had the item. They will never have the item because they don't collect it from China Post. Pay Pal are gutless and they believe all the BS Vango Group say.

Just a complete scam. Also they offer partial refunds but you will never get any money off them.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Very disappointed in this group
. I ordered a Mothers ring. I got it a week a go and on of the birthstones fall out already. I only had it for a week. They gave me no email to get a hold of them at all. Then the word mom you cant even see it. I only ordered 2 birthstones the put 5 on it. The rest of the stones wear clear. Didn't like that. Very disappointed ????

I’m very upset and have no way of contacting them , I trusted when I shouldn’t have , my receipt shows what my ring is suppose to look like except for the birthstones, but the one I finally got after long waiting looks nothing like what I was ordering, suppose to have only three stones and you can’t even see mama unless you strain your eyes to see , I’m so disappointed and wish for refund but can’t contact them , Wilma Sanderson, Pinetops NC

Purchased a pendant with pic inside, in April, just received and it has someone else's pic inside. The company wants me to pay to return item and pay fees to get correct pendant. I am getting scammed all over. Plus company seem to be in USA and after purchase and no communication from them, find out their in China. The gelong jewelry is part of Vango Group, that has been scamming many people out of money and merchandise, PayPal is not warning its loyal patrons. I think that in the times we are living this is a disgusting trust issue. This company and its counterparts should be fined for the fraud they are committing.

I bought Mother's Day items and keep asking where my order is, I get no reply however they took my 118.00 right away. I didn't see any of this scammer information till now. Has anyone received product or money back?

I ordered a curved smartwatch for $ 59.99 from metalsme.com via an Instagram offer and paid for it with PayPal. Instead, I received a cheap China gadget fitness band that is not worth $ 5. Since the item was delivered, PayPal denied buyer protection.

I ordered some transparent masks. They are junk! The product shown online did not look like what I received! I want to send them back, but cannot find a phone number nor an address! I want my money back! What you see below is the frame of the mask, the side vents(2) one popped out and the filters are very thin for sides ! They ? nothing like what I ordered!????
