I booked a rental on namastaygetaway.com which was put on my credit card for $770. They sent an email requesting $500 depoist venmo or zelled to [email protected] OR @namastaygetaway They even had a website with an address of the place. I told them i wasnt comfortable just giving $500. Then i tried to call and text their number and email day of checkin. They never got back to me and their number had no voicemail. Addtionally on the "checkin website" it said the code to get in the house would be sent via a chat box on the website. There was no chat box. This is a complete scam. I put a comment on their instagram and facebook asking if it was a scam, they only replied the day after checking saying they are "waiting for depoist." This was their email and websites: "

My wife put out to Facebook under OC Rentals, that she was looking for rental for 6-29 thru 7-6-24, with specific criteria. Person claiming to be QUOTE (Adrianne Bratcher), UNQUOTE (We googled this name and compared with Facebook picture and not the same person) messaged her back with properties from Bethany beach to boardwalk. Sent pictures and locations and claimed to be the owner of several properties. My wife told this person to email me at my email address. They also still corresponded by Facebook and my email. We were given a price of $3000 for a 4 bedroom 4 1/2 bath on boardwalk for requested week. Many questions back and forth via email and Facebook. I had questioned the pictures not being the correct unit in the South Beach condominium. She claimed to own both units on Facebook correspondence. I asked her to send me the contract to review. She did and I signed and sent back via email. She said that when I was ready to send money to let her know so that she would give me information to send. We asked for verification of ownership and to have a face time conversation. She responded that she was working on laptop with no camera. Kinda got upset that we were asking so many questions. We told her that we would get back to her today with our decision. I emailed her back today that we are still deciding. I researched ownership of units and pictures sent and no one by the name of (Adrianne Bratcher) owned any of them. We believe she is using someone's likeness on Facebook and is copying sites from VRBO and Central Reservations.

Answered an ad for a vacation rental in Nokomis FL on February 2nd, 2023. Sent $2175 via wire transfer on February 7th, 023. I was supposed to meet the craigslist guy at the property on March 1st to get the key, but upon arriving there was no one at the house. While waiting, I spoke to neighbors who knew the owner of the house & indicated that they had never seen renters there before. Eventually a guy showed up to clean the pool and he called the owner. The owner had no idea about any rental and she filed a police report as did I. I tried to upload below the craigslist ad as well as the email exchange between me and the poster, but I don't believe the upload went through.

I found a rental property on Zillow.com which we rented from 12/31/22-4/1/23. wired $ for deposit on 5/2/2022 and rest of $ on 12/1/2022.

we drove down to said property on 12/31 to find we were scammed. The person I had been in touch with via several emails was not the owner and property

was already rented to someone else. We are now out our money with nothing show for it. We talked to TRS realty that manages the

Seabreeze where the condo is, they looked at the listing and said that was not what the property looked like. so the listing for 13500 Gulf

Blvd #103 on Zillow was a complete fabrication. The email using the owners name was also a lie and the wire transfers that were sent to

the landlords was fraud as well.

final payment on 12/1/2022 to Roy Cawthon 1022 10th Ave N St Petersburg 33705 wired to Bank of America 1135 62nd Ave N St Petersburg 33702.
