Got a text clicked the link put in address then was asked for money for redelivery

I looked up the tracking number they had but it didn’t even exist that’s when I knew it was a scam

- Lodi, NJ, USA

They wanted. $3.00 redelivery fee… asking for my credit card info… saying they are the USPS….did not give my information…

- Hoboken, NJ, USA

Text message saying "Your package cannot be delivered due to wrong house number, please update the address in time to delivery."

Clicked on link and put in address information and then was asked to share credit card information for $3 redelivery charge

Given Tracking Number: *************** (which is not trackable on actual USPS.com website).

I received a text that the USPS tried to deliver a package but the address was incorrect. I clicked the link and it took me to a page that looked exactly like the USPS website so I entered my name, address, and email address. It then took me to a page asking for a $3 redelivery fee. At this point I searched the tracking number they included at the top and realized it didn’t exist. I also realized the url domain was not the USPS website so I knew it was a scam. I didn’t pay them, but they have my name email and address now. Also when I googled the USPS redelivery fee, a few articles alerted me that the real USPS does not charge a redelivery fee.

- Port Monmouth, NJ, USA

They sent this… USPS - Your package delivery has been suspended due to an incorrect house number for your shipping address, please update. uspnecdata.info/**** , once I clicked the link it brought me to a website to enter my information and asked me to pay $3 to redeliver my package.

I received a text message (screen shot attached) it took me to a fraud usps website and kept redirecting me back to a page that said my car was not supported and to try again using an American Express or Mastercard.

- Paterson, NJ, USA

receive a text from phone# 323-975-5178 ...DUE TO INCORRECT INFORMATION PROVIDED, YOUR PACKAGE STAFF CONNOT DELIVER, PLEASE MODIFY THE ADDRESS ONLINE. WWW.UPS-*****.US. when i clip it. it redirect me to the USPS website where i enter my name, address, email & telephone. the it ask to pay $3.00 to redeliver the package.

- Union, NJ, USA

It lead me to Usps page to tell me it needed my information for re delivery of a package, it asked for my name, my address, phone number, zip code, email, and my debit card number

- Pompton Plains, NJ, USA

They texted me a package number and I had a package that I had problems with. I looked around the website it seemed legit and I paid the redelivery fee. I realized 2 seconds later and froze my cards, contacted my bank and changed all my passwords. I had a vpn on my phone at the time so I dont know if that protected me at all.

Received text message - and asked me to change my address for usps delivery. Pretended to be usps I gave my credit card info

Text saying my package couldn’t be delivered and to click link for it to be redelivered. Provided a link for me to confirm my address. Website looks like usps. wanted my name address and phone number. It then said there was a “redelivery” fee of $.09. I did not enter my cc info.

They used text message with a link to click on: USPS: Since your package address does not have a house number, we are unable to arrange home delivery for you. Please update online. uspaddrgen.info/xR4e

They stated they needed to verify my address for a delivery and needed my address an credit/debit card info for $3.95 redelivery charge. I’m having deliveries but none are using USPS. I’m using Amazon and UPS for deliveries. I also verified what companies are making deliveries.

About two weeks ago I ordered US postage stamps from what I thought was a US Postal Service website. I was charged a foreign transaction fee from Hong Kong. The stamps did not look like the ones I ordered. Both my local post office and my bank believe I was scammed. I e-mailed the company, and then refunded my money, with the exception of the transaction fee. The return address on the package is from a Yi Xu at 24 Abeel Road, Monroe Township New Jersey 08831-2036.

I hope to spare others from this scam. Thanks!

They sent a text that said - USPS: arranged delivery of your shipment 1z64024 has been postponed! Make sure to confirm here > z4fmv.info/Im2iV5bOD0

This is completely false and a scam! I don’t have a package coming and didn’t click to find out what would happen.

USPS: the arranged delivery for the shipment 1z83410 got changed. Please confirm here: (with link)

- Asheville, NC, USA

Site impersonates USPS address change form. Website charges 39.99 without giving the customer the amount to be charged.

- Iselin, NJ, USA

I got a text message saying "dont miss your parcel again (my name), etrack here: (link to scam) reply Stop to unsub." I dont know why I believed them. I clicked the link and it said it was by usps sponsored by Apple. They said I won an iphone and asked for my info. I put it all in and they sent an email that lead to an account for maestroebooks. I cancelled my subscription by contacting that website and got a refund. I mean, they said I got a refund. Have yet to see it happen, but I'm waiting.
