SMS text from Philippine country code +639776858780. Says package arrived at transit center but could not be delivered due to incomplete address information. Link to correct error (as I listed in fields prior.) url is USSP.com NOT USPS.com. 1st screen verifies address to see if re-delivery is possible. Second screen asks for credit card info to pay for the redelivery.

I got this text, and didn't realize it was flagged as spam. I entered my address and credit card information and only when it said my credit card was unsupported did I realize something was amiss. I immediately reported my card information as stolen, so at least my funds are safe.

Guy named Jeffrey called saying that he was hired as a private courier for USPS and that I kept missing a signature-required package, and that he was going to show up tomorrow between 12pm and 3pm and that I needed my id present and a witness. Also said if I did not want him to show up unannounced that I needed to click a link to change the time he came.

The scammer stated the USPS couldn’t deliver a package and that it must be scheduled for redelivery. They charged a fee for redelivery.

- Red Bank, NJ, USA • Apr 10, 2023

I then followed the link and provided my debit card number and submitted and realized it was likely a scam. Did a quick google search and found out it is.

- Somerdale, NJ, USA

I received a text from what seemed to be USPS saying

"*USPS DELIVERY FAILED: We've issues with your address verify it at https://mymailusps.page.link/**** to resume delivery.Ref# **********************"

I had recently ordered a package and upon clicking the link, the page for USPS looked exactly like the official one. It told me that I needed to pay a $3 redelivery fee for a package and provide my address and card information. Seeing that the site looked legitimate, I entered the information and received a tracking number that did not come up when I searched it on the USPS website. When I tried to reenter the link, I was directed to a new page. One link on the page took me to a Chinese resort which was my first red flag that this copy version of the website was fake. I cancelled the card, so I lost no money as of yet, but it looks like the site still has personal information about me.

International package to Japan sent out 9:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2023, from USPS Woodland Park, NJ branch. At 2:55 PM, Monday, March 20, received a text message which said "USPS: Your package will be returned due to missing address details. Please update the address in time: https://homepage.check.package.K39236K43.nkpeetysjd.sa.com"

By clicking the link, I was guided to a page that asked me Full Name, E-mail, DOB, Address, etc. I entered my name and email but stopped there and closed the page.

- Collingswood, NJ, USA

- Piscataway, NJ, USA

Usps fake site

- Colonia, NJ, USA

Received message supposedly from USPS stating a package was being held for delivery and needed credit card info to redeliver. I did not put in any credit card info. Told this was a scam. phone number on text was 1 513 799 5169

- Cincinnati, OH, USA

When you click the link it asks for your address and then after it asks to pay a redelivery fee and put your card info in.

- Bordentown, NJ, USA

Text message said my package was returned to distribution center because there was a problem with my address. It linked to a web page that requested my correct address and credit card info to pay a $3 fee for resenting. The web page looked just like the official USPS website but nothing was click able. The tracking number they gave was invalid at the real USPS site. It's not the fee that mattered but they would have my credit info
