Online passport renewal. Documents downloaded—authentic forms from the government.

Paid for renewal online and returned forms by mail. Stupidly entering SSN and expired passport. I tracked postal delivery to the location.

I received a letter stating that my passport wasn't renewed because I didn't pay government fees. They also returned my passport.

They got $, a copy of my expired passport & SSN.

I applied for a passport on the state government website but it took me to a third party website which looked legitimate and I didn’t even notice I wasn’t on the government site anymore. Since I’m new to USA, I applied for a passport for the first time without knowing the procedures, and I got scammed. I filed a charge dispute with my bank, but this site now has my personal information and I’m terrified it’s now compromised.

I needed to replace my sons' stolen passports. I logged on and found a site called Passport Hub (which is what passport centers are called) and filled out the replacement form. I had to pay the fee and then they sent the filled out PDF. I called the county clerk's office to make an appt to turn in the form and the woman informed me that the govt only accepts payment via check or money order and there is no online payment at all for this. She said I was scammed. Included on the form were my boys' SSNs, name, birthdates, etc.

Misleading site with sponsored google results when searching for legitimate US Passport application site. This service leads customers to believe that they are applying for a passport directly when infact they have no affiliation with the US Government. The only service that they are providing is filling out PDF forms, customers still need to pay all fees to the government to submit these forms. Additionally this private company collect all personal information including Social Security Numbers and all of the PII needed to obtain a US Passport. Very misleading site and Google is partially to balme for allowing sponsored results in searches for official government websites.

I googled "US passport renewal" and somehow the first search result was this website. I had no reason to believe it wasn't legitimate and provided all of my information including my SSN, address, phone number, email, etc. Then they request I pay a fee of $94.95 for my passport renewal (after also trying to upcharge with passport insurance if lost, passport card, various other services worth an additional $100). A few hours later they email me a form that is the PDF application for a passport and say they are a private business and not a government service, therefore I will need to file the form with the government and pay the fee for renewal. There is no email address, no phone number, no means to contact anyone about this "business". The service they reportedly provided for nearly $100 was giving me a publicly available, free form (that they made "editable"). How on earth they became the top google search result for US passport renewal is beyond me, but someone should look into this as it seems nepharious.

My son got on what appeared to be a legitimate passport handling agency, and filled out all the information on the passport application. At the end of the process it asked if you would like the following: expedited service, insurance, a passport card, and of course the passport itself. All these had their costs listed next to them, and appeared to be selectable or de- selectable. However when he went to check out they were all part of the final charge on my debit card. Thinking this was a legitimate agency, I figured that all we needed to do at that point was to show up with the completed application at the passport office and they would have a record of payment. Unfortunately we were notified that this is believed to be a scam, and ended up paying for the passport at the post office passport office.

We were charged for fraudulent services. They cannot provide any of the services that were offered. All they did was fill out the application in a pdf form and return it via email. There phone number is a recording that says they are not available, and I have yet to get a response from their email address.

Complete fraudulent scam.

I was trying to renew my passport by filling out form DS-82 then they would send me this form all typed and able to print so i could mail. On the form, they have my SSN, DOB, Passport number, and home address. Never received this Government document form. But did take my $94 dollars.

I was helping my grandmother replace a lost passport. I went to the website in the complaint because i thought they provided an all online process. I requested a refund immediately on their site when i found they did not. I emailed and called them since 3/29/25, the day it happened, with no return correspondence even though their website says 24/7 customer service.
