when researching who to renew a passport, this website comes up and mirrors a US Government website. It has you fill out the documentation for a passport asking all the personal information including passport numbers, social security number and credit information. It takes the information and uses it for fraud. There is no way to reach anyone at the business. Later I learned that it is linked to an immigration site and sells the information it takes.

The Scam is targeted at people trying to renew their passport not realizing it is not a sanctioned government site and trusting that it is .org.

Avoid this 3rd party site. If your looking to renew your passport. Go to Government site and not this one. Passport hub will charge you, have ALL your personal information, and you will end up having to redo your forms and pay the additional government fee. Forms are free on Government site. BEWARE

I was at the city website and clicked the link for passport forms. Mypassporthub.com popped up without me realizing I wasnt filling out the form through the government website. It wasn't until I followed up with the city that I realized it wasn't filed with them.

This is a site you are given when you type in passport application in your search engine. Once you fill out the application and pay for what you think is your passport application, you receive an email approving your application. You then receive your application in pdf format. In the fine print of what they send you, it states this is only a company that fills out your application for you. It does not send it and it is not for a passport. Definitely READ THE FINE PRINT!!

I applied for two passports for $94.95 each. I filled out the applications online and paid with a credit card. I received a confirmation email stating that "My payment was successful and I will be emailed my PDF form in the next few hours".

#1-They only confirmed 1 application fee, not two that I paid for.

#2-They never sent me anything. I emailed them several times and was told the same thing each time "print the PDF form and bring it along with the proper identification to my local post office". When I email them again requesting they send the "PDF form", they just re-send the same email as above. What scares me most is they now have my social security number and my husband's social security number.

My Passport Hub was the first on the list that popped up in a Google search for renewing a passport. I clicked on it and proceeded to apply for the renewal, providing all sensitive personal information, including payment, only to find out after the transaction that the website is not affiliated with government passport renewal, and that it's just a "preparation" for the passport renewal application - which makes no sense at all. They took $119 for this nonsense. When I tried to reach them for a refund, they only had a contact section via email, even though they said they have a 24/7 customer assistance on standby.

I applied online to renew both of our passports and thought it was a legit sight. It automatically checked all of the boxes for booklet, card, express, insurance which I unchecked part of them and paid $119.90. I then took the printed form and my old passport to the post office just to mail it and was asked how I wanted to pay and I said I had already paid. I was told I couldn't have paid already and that it was a scam. So I had paid $240 for both and then had to pay again at the post office. I tried to call the number listed and it just has an automated message and then hangs up. I emailed them and stated I was turning them in and contacted my credit card company for fraud claims. Just today, I did get an email back from this company stating they were returning my money as there was a problem with my payment, although there clearly wasn't since my payment for both had already gone thru and gotten paid.

I attempted to renew my passport and passport card. I inadvertently logged onto the "My Passport Hub" as it was the first site that popped up in my search. I followed the instructions for processing my Passport and paid the "fees" of $144.81. All I received was a completed Passport Form ~ DS82. The site alludes to being the service needed to renew a passport.

I searched on Google passport applications and mypassporthub came up. I was unaware that this was a scam at the time and i ordered my passport and paid online, they sent the application to my email but required additional documentation to get it however at this point i was nervous about sending original documents to them through mail and i called the us.gov number and they advised me there no records of an application and possible scam. I requested a refund from mypassporthub and no response and contact number is an automated message directing you to contact them at the email then hangs up.

On april 9th i tried to renew a passport book and passport card that this scammer said on their website that they would provide . They misrepresented the service. They took my passport book number , visa card number which they claimed was not working and my Amex blue card number. They proceeded to try to collect from both the visa and the amex card. Visa immediately notified me and stopped the charge and cancelled my card. American express refused to do anything until the scammer tried to collect their charge of $183.33.

The website offers passport application help. While it does say that it is not a government agency (I realized this in hindsight), it does take sensitive information such SSN, DOB, etc. They charge for the service and do provide a pdf of the application. So on that respect, it is not a scam. But I do think it should be looked into as it takes sensitive information.

First google result when searching a specific passport renewal form. Google result for fill the form online. Presents as government website, is only made clear after payment that you did not pay the government fee but a separate fee. Have SSN and other critical data.

I thought I was filling out an application for a new passport. The form was correct. I paid 94.95 and the form came to my email and I printed it out and brought it into the office for processing only to find out it's a free form

Site is made to look like it's a government site. They ask for all of your personal information such as - SS/Passport #/Mother and Fathers Name, birthday, state of birth / bank information / address / phone / emergency contact.
