Caller claims to be from "customer service". First words are "can you hear me", If you answer yes, they use this response to claim you purchased a product.

I received a call from an Indian sounding male with an Unkown phone number. He said I was to receive a government grant of 14,566.00 because I have paid my bills, my taxes and have no criminal background. He gave me a confirmation number for the grant *** and asked that I call the grant manager at 469-795-7745. I didn't call because I felt it had to be a scam because my government does not give out grants without applying for them.

These 2 guys came to my parents house today 9/7/16. He called yesterday and set up meeting said its to go over the new Medicare rules and info. My parents didn't get a business card and can't remember his name but he said they help out with financial future they set up account and use the money to pay for care. He seemed legit told my parents they should have a will and on there life insurance policies and 401K should put another beneficiary in case something happens to one of them. My father never gives his social out but he did and my moms and there date of births. He said my dad qualifies cuz he has copd and it's on list my mom doesn't he would enroll and see what happens and what will help my parents best and come back to show my parents there options. Them he said he would need a check before he leaves for $20,000 and if they decide not to go with them he would have the funds transferred back immediately. My father said absolutely not and we are done here see us. They left but now we're concerned because they have there socials and birthdates. I took a pic if the car got license plate number. What do we do.

Voicemail stating that I'm having a lawsuit filed against me from the IRS and to call these numbers. (225) 304-7064 and 7058 from Denham Springs LA. As a senior, this could be very harmful to someone else who really thinks this scam is true. I wanted to report this scam and help someone else who falls for this scam. Thank you for your time

I received a voicemail message from an Illinois phone number from a man with a semi thick unknown accent named James Cartson or Kaston. He stated that the U.S. treasury would take action against me if I did not respond to him. He said if I ignored this warning it was a federal offense and I could be put before a grand jury or majestrate.

i own a company here in connecticut and i was contacted by a person who was "out of town" and wanted to pay me in advance for my companys services, i knew this was a lie so i got what info i could from them, the name is Gema stacey jeffery their company theyre drwn off of apparently is in new jersey, garden savings federal credit union, and they were going to send me a cashiers check ill forward all the logs i have with this individual

Have gotten four calls from the following phone number 206 395 3212 Telling me the IRS is going to take me to court and to call them at The above number.
