TwinklingTree.co sells cheap, broken plastic trees for $40 each.
I bought 3 of these for 40 dollars each on November 7th, 2022. At best they are worth about 4 bucks each and that is a stretch. They are cheap plastic, hideous looking, and yes, I feel like an [censored]!! While I can absorb this cost, I am furious at the dishonesty of this company with brilliant advertising. I feel very badly for anyone paying 40 dollars for one of these items as a gift only to find they have received a very poor product nobody would wish to gift to others.
From my purchases: One does not work; One has the wrong cord so is inoperable; One works but again, very cheap plastic and quality. I bought them as Christmas gifts for my daughters’, but I would NEVER gift these to anybody.
I have emailed the company many times. Randomly (sometimes days, weeks, usually in the middle of the morning 3 am or so) I get the same rote response every time. This is their response COPIED AND PASTED from my email:
"TwinklingTree customer support here! Just checking in to see if you've had a chance to review the last message from Kat? Friendly reminder that we're waiting on a response to continue your support enquiry.
If you need some additional time to get back to us please let us know, otherwise we will close this ticket in a day if we haven't heard back from you.
Have a great day!
TwinklingTree Customer Support".
I reply that I have NEVER heard from Kat or anybody else and just keep getting the same email. I am guessing it is computer generated, because, as long as I email them back, I keep getting the same rote response.
This company is based in Columbia. Beware, the website is very professionally done and would fool the best of us. I know full well the reviews on this website (https://twinklingtree.co) are dishonest and are likely posted by the genius owners of this disreputable company. I left an honest review but of course it was never posted; Big surprise! It is also advertised on Facebook, Amazon (under a variety of different names), pops up on my phone etc. I do wish I had seen these and purchased them from Amazon, as I believe they would have intervened on my behalf.
It is my hope this company can be listed as one that cannot be trusted as the product is so cheap and dysfunctional; I can only imagine the rest of the products are of the same quality (or lack therof). I hate to see folks get swindled like this.
Thank you for your time.
