I accidentally double booked a rental car through thrifty car/hertz. When I called to cancel one booking they said they couldn’t unless I used a different credit card for the booking. I provided an alternate card but it wouldn’t process (my bank recognized the suspicious vendor and blocked the charge). I was later able to get one of the bookings refunded. I then received another call from the scam rental center from TravoJunction.com saying they were trying to cancel one of the bookings. Shortly after I received 5 text messages from my bank saying a very large charge was being processed and needed a code. The scam rental center asked me to provide the code but I refused. They got upset but I hung up.

Now I’m not sure how to confirm if I even have a legitimate booking but I plan to go in person to the rental location and ask.
