a common tactic where scammers promise unrealistic profits to convince you to invest. These schemes are built on lies, using psychological manipulation to exploit your trust and drain your funds.

If you’ve fallen victim or suspect a scam, I strongly advise reaching out to Coin Retrievers via [email protected]. They’re a reputable team experienced in investigating and recovering assets from crypto-related fraud.

I'm new i like to earn money easy way

I had the EXACT Same thing happen to me, expect the person that "hired" me was named Robert! Thank you for this! I thought it was bizarre and glad I looked up this info!

Sorry! I was too fast in writing this! I thought it was really odd that someone would hire me so quickly and NOT on the phone, only via text message. I also found this on upwork.

The 2 websites he mentioned were urbanprices.com and snkrzstore.com
which looked poorly done, but legit websites. When I asked why the electronics were so expensive, he said that it was because they have a way to deliver to someone within the same day and that it was a company secret and they couldn't reveal to me how they could do this. That seemed sketchy already. They he continued to "interview" me via text and not on the phone. Again, this seemed sketchy.
He also told me I was hired the next day. Again, just had a really bad feeling about this.

I'm glad I read this... I blocked him, and will be trying to report him to upwork.

Thanks!

The persons who tried scamming me went under the name Nina Solomon and Sarah Johnson. They tried hiring me through a website call upworks(w/ two separate job listings), they later moved the conversation from the website upworks to text messaging with them. They asked me questions regarding info about me like what's my clerical speed and other info, they told me what would be my duties if I was hired as an virtual assistant for their company. They told me I could pick and choose my schedule and promised me benefits and stuff like that. They both worked with crypto currency or at least thats what they said. They both provided websites to their "businesses." They both had the same identical website, everything matched and they even had the website in written in Latin. So it was two different people trying to scam me with the same identical website the only difference was the url. When I went on both actual websites they seemed to be glitching and they both told me the same excuse that "both their websites were under maintenance and their IT guy was fixing it." One of them told me that their job is "to sell electronics, gadgets and phone items and accessories. We sell customized items and also diamond ICED phones. We accept a variety of different payment methods. We amazingly accept different currency as our payment option, but one of our best move is your item gets delivered same day without extra charges." They did not interview me, they asked simple questions and one of them told me that they had cancer so they needed someone to help them with managing their website. At the end one of them simply "hired" me based on "my level of experience" and apparently also because of my "work skills." The person that went by Nina Solomon then asked for my email address and full name. I proceeded to block both numbers.
