We applied for a Certificate of Good Standing with Mississippi, we received this form in the mail to fill out & mail back with 87.25. We filled out & mailed back on 6.26.26 & this check has cleared the bank on July 10. We never received this Certificate, I have called left messages 6 times & email @ [email protected] & have had to response or contact, This is why I believe it is a scam. No one has Ever called or responded since the end of June.

I just started my LLC and the next week I had two scam letters one stating a mandatory payment for a certificate of Good Standing Request. for 87.25$, QR code brings you to thelocalbiz.com with colorado flags and a place to submit all your information. I didn't send any money or submit any info, I questioned the time sensitivity after only just starting my LLC with no mention of these documents in any Colorado gov documents. Typed the phone number into google and found multiple reported scams pop up.
