I got a group chat text. The following screenshots will show what that so called "company " preceeded to say.

• Apr 14, 2023

Received a letter in the mail talking me to deposit a check for $2950, keep $500 and then go get a money order for the remaking amount and send it to another person.
Mystery shopping scam

I got a text message from them that I didn't answer. I've been trying to find out about them but couldn't find much for some reason. It didn't sound credible to me. You don't get something for nothing. I don't know why they chose my number. Last year, I "applied" for something similar. They sent me a check, over 2k and asked me to buy Amazon gift cards and take pictures of the backs AFTER I scratched off the pin#. Seriously? Do I look stupid? I looked up the bank and it did exist but not in the location that was printed on the check! They told me I could keep the rest of the check. $500! Sounds great for someone on social security...Oh no I didn't! They can find someone else! The check would've bounced and I would've been responsible for that fee and trying to back peddle that money would be hard! My bank does have a fraud department and probably would flag a check like that before the transaction would take place but suppose it wouldn't...
The people at Premier Intelligence Shopping Company should be incarcerated for federal crimes against the elderly! I'm sure there's a few.

*But only one group text but 2! Both different numbers...

I received a text group message from 201-401-9864 that said to become a secret shopper I had to text this number and type I am ready to become a mystery shopper. I did and I was contacted by the manager of intelligence premier shopping company, John Henderson, and was told I would receive 1000 dollars weekly for participating and it would arrive via FedEx. So I looked it up and come across this website.. they haven't responded back but I took screenshots of our conversation.

I received a group message from the Premier Intelligence Shopping Company on October 17, 2021. The sender was using the following number to text: (252) 340-1902, stating to contact Dean Henderson (MysteryShopper Hiring Manager) at (404) 927-6915. A quick google search will show they are a not a legit business, def a SCAM - Please do NOT give them any of your personal information.

I've also searched the Better Business Bureau for the company, they are NOT accredited, having a F rating, as well the BBB details they are an employment scam. Sadly, these scams have harmed numerous ppl, as the saying goes, "if it seems too good to be true it probably is". It is ludicrous that during a pandemic these scammers are trying to lure ppl who are struggling for money into situations that ONLY harm them.

Recently received a check from Dean Henderson for $5525 for car wrap advertised Tropicana juices. From phone number (404)927 6915.

I received two text from them with the secret shopper for Walmart I almost sent info but I wanted to look them up to see if they are a real company because thousand bucks a week was to good to be true.

Their website looks legit, but it's so not!

I received a priority envelope in the mail. Inside was a check for $2,983 with a letter from Premier Intelligence Shopping explaining what to do with money. Specifically, I was instructed to text 940-455-6691 using the term "assignment received" and identify myself with my full name. Then I was to cash or deposit the check. Then text 940-455-6691 using the terms "funds deposited". I was to deduct $300 for my salary. The letter says not to disclose  that I am evaluating the post office services. I am to purchase two $1000 money orders and one $600 money order. I can use cash or my debit card to purchase teh money orders. I am to leave the money orders blank with receipts attached. Then text 940-455-6691 for further instructions on how to complete the task and mailing information. Signed by Adel Marcus, MBA Survey Co-Ordinator. The check was written on Pruitt Contracting Company in Fredericksburg, VA. They asked me to send the check to them which I did marked void everywhere. I have attached copies.

I received a text message on 2/12/2019 from a company claiming to be "The Premier Intelligence Shopping Company" and the site they have supposedly run by Sights on Service, Inc. They were offering mystery shop jobs for Money gram/CVS/Walgreens and offering to pay $300/shop payable by cashiers check, money order, or direct bank deposit. I am a secret shopper therefore I know what to look for. I was instantly skeptical so I looked up information through as well as MSPA sites. This is the exact text message received from them :

- Pittsburgh, PA, USA

I received a text message from a gmail contact. Once I clicked on the message it directed me to the website page I read through the long passage and there was a button to apply. I clicked on the button to apply and it directed me to another page with a false application to put in my personal information. I figured it must be a scam to get your personal information. I’m not sure how they got my number nor was there any information on the company, their address, or their number.

I initially received an email through my university account that appeared to be sent by someone from the university. It read that "The Premier Intelligence Shopping company is accepting applications for qualified individuals for a Walmart shopping survey...It's fun, rewarding and you choose when and where you want to shop". The email went on to say that you aren't obligated to complete any assignments and that the company will provide you access to training materials and so on. I followed the link to sign up, and the website claims to be recruiting secret shoppers, and that they will pay you to confidentially survey services and overall experience of the assigned store. The website goes on to say that there is no charge to become a shopper and you do not need previous experience. Also, at the bottom of the one-page website there is a logo and some other official logos. I proceeded to fill out the application form which asked for my name, email, phone number, and address. Then it asks how you would like to receive funding for your tasks, and provides the option to either enter your bank account information for direct deposit or simply receive a cashier's check. I chose to go with the check. I wasn't expecting anything more than maybe a phone call to further discuss my application, but I got a packet in the mail three days after filling out the online form that included a cashiers check for the amount of $2,900.00 and instructions (which I've also attached a picture of). The instructions ask you to text/email someone once you've received the packet, so I texted the number and continued reading. I received a text back that thanked me for confirming, and prompted me to deposit the check as soon as possible so I could complete my task. The next step was to deposit the check into my personal bank account, and once the funds became available, I was to deduct $400.00 for myself, $100 to cover transportation and any fees I might encounter, and the rest I was to wire from 2 Walmart locations nearest me,($800.00 to each recipient) using Moneygram and Walmart2Walmart services. The packet claimed that the money was to be used for the purpose of visiting and patronizing the services of a Walmart store and Moneygram outlet. It also gave a deadline for the assignment which was to be completed three days after receiving the packet. It further mentions that when wiring the money, to say no if asked if I was a secret shopper, and to answer yes when asked if I know the recipients in person. At this point I was skeptical so I looked up the premier intelligence shopping company on google and came across an article on the real secret shopper website that warned against scams like such, and which led me to believe that the check I received in the mail is most likely counterfeit, and the purpose of the scam was for me to receive the funds and wire the money before the check was cleared by the bank, and that by the time I learned the check was fake, I would be out the money I sent and responsible for the bounced check.
