Received a message on FB Messenger from one of my existing contacts that just did not seem right, so I looked up the (Trust Community Foundation ) that I was being asked about. The conversation was not normal from knowing my aunt so I did not respond.

I just received a Social Media on Facebook Messenger name Patrick Williams saying that I won $150,000 but I have to pay Mr. James Smith who is a FedEx delivery guy in Tacoma, WA $500 shipping fee when I can’t afford $500 in order for them to deliver to my house. So when I told Patrick I don’t have $500 on me, he decreased my payment to $100 iTunes card just to help me out because he doesn’t want me to lose $150,000 and he said he couldn’t accept $100 iTunes because the FedEx delivery Mr. James Smith wants $200 iTunes gift card, and I don’t have $100 or $200 on me. If I don’t pay $100 or $200 iTunes card and send that picture I paid for to them to complete it, they will inform me with FBI.

I do have Mr. James Smith from Tacoma, Washington’s cell number. It is 1 (601) 336-0843.

My best friends mom (so I thought) friend requested me on fb I accepted then she messaged me on messenger.

It is the TRUST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION that give out free grant offer to all people in the community and help them maintain good standard of living and eradicate poverty from the people, going to school, or even helping raise their youth with old and retired, veterans Employed and unemployed, old, widowed,Deaf and disabled

In this new program, i got $90.000 delivered to me when i applied for the grant and you don't have to pay it back.i saw your name on the list so i was wondering if you got yours too?

You are eligible to get the grant if you apply for it from the agent text him on (469) 430-9232 or [email protected]. The agent name is Richard Bill.. You will have to message him that you are aware of the ongoing grant and you want to know if your profile name is still available on their Grant winners list, and you like to make claim for it

Call him now if he did not pick your call drop him a text message I'm very sure that he will contact you back as soon as he got your message

Well I was contact it by a clone of one of my family members Facebook first they wanted me to ask him so I did and then I got a IM from them hours later asking me did I know about a new program that gives free money. I was then given a phone number and asked to text immediately. Now a couple of red flags popped up from all of this which was this family member has never contacted me through any means other then text or calls plus asking me to text someone at midnight. But against my better judgement I went ahead and texting number oh Dan told me to send information so they can log it into the database and see if I'm approved to win and once I was approved they ask me which type of payment that I wanted to make to receive what amount of money that I wanted and that's when I knew there's something was wrong so I looked up the company the number and for the most part all I seen was red flags so it was at that time that I decided to not give any more information and to look to report it.

I got a personal message from my grandmother on *** saying that she had some good news and asked if I heard about it. Me, not hearing from her in nearly 4 years told her no and that’s when she said she had gotten 70,000 from the government and had seen my screen name on the list. I then proceeded to try and grab some more information on the subject and I felt very suspicious that it was a hack. I contacted my aunt to see if my grandmother had been messaging me and she confirmed that she had not been messaging me. Thank goodness I caught it in time before I put any of my personal information out there.

I got a message from whom I thought was one of my friends...turned out it was not...this person asked me if I had ever heard of TCF(Trust Community Foundation)? It’s supposed to be a government grant to help people to get out of debt and be in poverty. They told me to send a message to a person by the name of “Julia Smith” and gave me a link straight to this person to get “information” about the grant. I later found out that in order to get so called grant I had to send them money in order to receive the amount of grant I’d like to receive. I will attach a couple of the messages they sent to me.

An acquaintance from childhood contacted me over facebook (I learned from a mutual friend that he had been hacked) regarding a purported government grant, called the "Trust Community Foundation Grant." When I searched the name, I came up with a name of an organization in New Zealand, although the scammer assured me it was an American program. He pressed me to contact the phone number listed above and told me that I would need to pay a fee (of varying amounts from $300 to $10,000) to receive the grant money. I did not contact that number. I took screenshots of the entire conversation.

I was contacted by a friend on facebook who said he had gotten a free government grant and said I should contact the company to see if I was a winner too. I got a text message from them claiming to be Trust Community Foundation, and said I had won $650,000 grant and I just needed to send them $850 in itunes gift cards. They asked me for my name, mother's name, address, age, marital status, phone number, email address and whether I wanted the money in cash or check. They were quite convincing and asked me to go to Walmart or CVS to get the gift cards. When I had not done that, they texted me again, asking me to do it so the winnings could be delivered asap. I ended up going to CVS and the clerk there stopped me from buying the gift cards and suggested I get this checked out before I sent anything to anyone. I also called the local Community Foundation who told me they had nothing to do with these people, and assured me they wouldn't ask for itunes gift cards. I contacted the BBB and they told me it was a scam so I did not send off money. The people keep texting me, asking if I have the money and had sent it off yet. They are relentless in trying to get some money. I told them I thought they were a scam, and that grants are free and they said the money is to unlock my ballot winner box so the government can confirm me as a winner. I am ignoring them now, but wanted other people to know about the scam so they can protect themselves.

Received Message from longtime acquaintance on FB messenger. He asked how I was doing since we have not spoken to each other for over 20 years. After a brief exchange of conversation, he asked me if I ever heard of TCF government program designed to give money to seniors who qualify. My friend then gave me a text number to the "agent" who handles the disbursement of funds.

I texted the number and got immediate response from this unknown agent. He asked me my name, address, phone number and told me he was going to check list to see if I qualify.. Agent got back to me 5 minutes later telling me I was on reliable list. I qualified for $50,000 grant. All I had to do was pay agent fee of $750 and within 6 hours I would receive the money. He even supplied me with a FedEx tracking number. I was then told ,To purchase the 750 at Walmart with iTunes cards....

All the while I was conversing on FB messenger with my supposed friend who kept prompting me to do what agent requests. My friend kept telling me it was legit .....so between m .....it friend on messenger and so called agent via text,I was being worked from two different angles of believability.

I am going to reach out and contact my real friend who's name is being used to give credibility to this scam

Message via messenger on Facebook from recently accepted friend. Explaining the TCF Program gives money to the Old, Retired, Working, Divorced. Claimed he received $100K, and he saw my name when he was signing documents for his winnings. Wanted to give me an online claiming agent page. And that the agent is honest and trustworthy. He claimed names are chosen randomly and he can help me contact them to help me get all of the money they want to pay me.

TRUST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Claim they will send you $20,000 for buying two $100 Itunes cards and them they want you to pay another $300 for postage. I stopped at that point. They said they would send the $20,000 in cash UPS same day delivery.

They hacked a friend of my Facebook page. Beware!!! total SCAM.

This is what it said.

"All is well we thank God for his grace,Just checking on you and wondering if you heard the TCF PROGRAM?"

I said, "Don't know what that is."

"It is the TRUST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION that give out free money to all people and help them maintain good standard living"
