This person claimed to be Agent Lorettal Lynch Lyman working for Trust Community Foundation telling me through a friends facebook profile telling me to add them acting like my friend saying it was legit. I paid $2000 for the grant then all the sudden they wanted $3500 for the taxes, then all the sudden $5000 for insurance. They managed to scam $5000 out of me and because i couldnt afford the rest she then asked for personal info and my facebook password. Talking to me with my friends facebook that is was real i trusted this friend. So i was stupid and gave personal info. So i was scammed $5000 now my personal info is out there and they locked me out of my facebook profile using it to scam my family and friends. Sadly most people on my facebook are close to me they let me know and i tell them to report it.

A person identifying as Jacqueline Lowman on Facebook messaged me stating she had seen my name on a list on Trust Community Foundation Programs website when she collected her own money.

She kept leading me on...telling me to email a person at the foundation and to follow his directions exactly. This lasted for an hour and a half. The person said I would need $1000 to get the $25,000. I told this person at the Foundation that I didn’t have the money to send to get the $25,000. Still waiting.I was just asked if I could get a loan. My answer was NO! Still trying to get me to do something so I “not loose(sic) this opportunity.”

My Girlfriend, who i thought was my girlfriend texted me a message saying hello, i thought nothing of it, told her i was fine and her, she told me she just got a grant of 150,000.00 from TCF, Trust Community Foundation, I said you got to be kidding me, she says no i'm serious i just got 150,000.00 Cash, and the delivery man road with her to the bank cause it was so much, i guess for protection, gave me the mans name and number to see if i qualified for this program, Mr. Michael Harrison, so i texted the man and of course i qualified for the grant also, please send him $900.00 to receive 100,000.00 in 48 hrs, i thought this is to good to be true, but stupid me, went to wal-mart got a vanillla card put 200.00 on it, he said i could pay a portion but remaining amount to be paid by next day and in 48 hrs i would receive $100,000.00, I thought i had really been talking to my girlfriend that i had went to high school with and I fell for it, hook line and sinker. I sent this man $200.00 and thought about it overnight and said to myself, this is bull[censored], to good to be true, come to find out I spoke with my girlfriend for real on the telephone and she did not know a thing about this, so she had been hacked, and probably me also.I'm out $200.00, Thank god I didn't send the rest.

I was contacted by a "friend" asking if i had ever heard of trust community grant program. That they would give me money to help pay my bills etc. She gave me the "agents" name on facebook and told me to contact them so I did. Unfortunately I had given my name and address to him before my radar in my head went off. The "friend" wanted me to let her know everything that was said etc and said to follow the instructions. Then came the give me $1000.00 for the delivery fee and you'll receive $100,000.00 in 4 hours. I told the "friend" I didn't have any money for the fee and she then offered to come up with half of the fee if I could get the other half, I told her I have no money, she then said if I could come up with $100 she'd cover the $900. I asked her how she'd get the money to the "agent" along with any money I could come up with and she told me she'd contact him and send it to him I'm guessing "her cc" or some such bs.Then they started asking about credit cards. My radar was going crazy so I told her if she'd front me the money I'd immediately give it back to her after I received the money 4 hours later. She went offline then the "other person" did too. Now she's back and wanting me to get the credit card info from my husband. I told her that my husband said no but she keeps asking me for it. Thankfully I didn't give her the cc info or any other info. I am disgusted that I almost fell for it. Please do something about her! I have her name as well.

They sent a fake Facebook friend request from an old friend. Then contacted me on messenger. Asked how I was doing and suggested I contact TCF. They wanted me to keep in contact with them to let me know how it was going. They asked me for my name in a text message. Then proceeded to tell me my name was on their list. I let them know I knew they were a scam and was filing a report with the BBB. They responded with a text claiming to be offended. But they had no info except my name. They couldn't checked anything!!!!

My daughter's friend's Facebook account was hacked. She got a text message from 910-849-0734, Agent George from TCF Foundation/Trust Community Foundation, telling her to go to the store and buy a $50 Amazon gift card. She was told if she pays $50 she could get a grant for $10,000. He said "I am the Director of Federal government TCF program" and "Grace of God". She was on her way out the door to the Dollar Store when I stopped her.

The person contacted me via Facebook. The person used a photo of my cousin who lives in Clinton, MS. The Facebook profile name is Karee B. Heath. The person asked me have I heard about TCF. The person proceeds to tell me that they got a $75,000 grant. The person told me to contact the agent Paul Smith to see if my name was on the winning list. I corresponded with said person this morning via text. The person asked for my full name to see if I was on the winning list. The person sent me back a confirmation ticket with information a tracking number to claim the winning money. The person then requested full home address, date of birth, mobile number, email, monthly income cash or "cheque," and network carrier. The person told me to answer back each question one by one. I was told to keep the info confidential. Then I was sent a list for a payment amount to choose from starting at to $500 for $50,000 to pay $5,000 for $750,000. The out of pocket expenses were said to cover tax clearance, delivery fees and tax exemption. I never spoke with the person over the phone only through Facebook messenger and text message. I believe it is the same person because they used the word "okay" often. I provided this person with my info, but no SSN or bank information.

Someone with broken English tried to convince me they were my friend on facebook (actually a cousin account that is older and unlikely to reach out like that). Said he was doing great and blessed (didn't sound like my relative lol). Asked if I received his message about TCF and explained with these words "Trust Community Foundation that give out free money to all people and help them maintain good standard living" then asked Have you heard of them, and suggested i contact them via 256-472-0523 "you can send them a message only and they don't receive a call just ordinary text and they will get back to you." Then they asked over and over - did you contact them yet - which I replied yes that I was getting a 100,000 grant and was very excited (I googled Trust Community). person responded "Okay good. what is the name of the agent. Are you there with me" I will tell them an agent's name and I'm sure it will be the wrong name so guess that's all I have to report. For now I simply asked where I can send my $500 Western Union - as that's what I saw in other scams - guess they caught on I was yanking their chain - too easy :)

I was contacted by a FB friend (who didnt contact me) that she saw my name on a list of winners for a program that I never heard of. Playing along i contacted the person who was using a gmail address saying it was the main address for the head office. They wanted me to buy a $710.00 iTunes gift card to activate my winning package. After calling them a scam they dropped it to $150.00

Identity theft on Facebook reached out about fake grant.

Received a Facebook “messenger” request from my aunt. I accepted it and the person pretending to be my relative asked if I’d heard about TCF. They went on to explain that it was a grant program and they wanted to give me information on how to apply. I asked a few questions that only my aunt would know, and they pretended to be insulted that I would question them. I blocked them and contacted my aunt to tell her that her account had been hacked.

According to an Internet search of the company name, there is a company called The Trust Community Foundation located in New Zealand.  Not sure if they are related.

My friend was hacked on Facebook and then her fake account contacted me about the Community Trust Foundation, supposedly a government program, offering money to individuals to eradicate poverty among the low income, disabled, etc. There was a link to contact https:m.me/juliasmith453. I did click on the link and was contacted through messenger by "Julia Smith". She said because of my physical address (the only personal info I gave her) that I was eligible for free grant money and did I want to collect this money. I wrote back and said not interested and deactivated my account on Facebook. I hope this was enough to end this scam.

I got a Facebook message from a friend about the grants that they were giving out and I texted the number that the friend sent me. They asked me for my name. Gave them my name and they told me congratulations I was a winner of one of their grants. They sent me a link to their website and that’s where I knew that it was a scam. They wanted me to pay $1000 to get $100k grant.
