I applied to a job for Swiftora listed on Indeed. I had a phone interview with two different people. I looked up their website to see what the company did. I filled out a W2 and sent in photo of SS card and my drivers license (for the I9 form). They sent me a log in to their dashboard. This showed me shipments I would receive, to inspect, take a photo and then they would send me a pre-paid shipping label to attach to the package after it was sealed back up. I would either have to take it USPS, UPS or FedEx. They called and told me that they would like to give me a promotion which would have me go make a purchase. They asked if I had a credit card until I received a card from them. They gave me an account number to pay down my card and had me make a purchase and I shipped it out. When I didn't get paid I called them and they hung up on me and blocked my call and no response from emails. Then the payment for the purchase was reversed on my credit card.

They had me cash two twelve hundred dollar checks to buy something at a local store and mail it to them as part of the job. But then they cut communications from me and filed a return on the checks. So now I have negative twenty four hundred dollars, and I never got paid for the services for a month of work.

- Huntington Station, NY, USA • May 29, 2026

I was recently contacted by a company calling itself “Swiftora Logistics” regarding a remote position as a “Receiving Specialist.” The role involved receiving packages at my home, inspecting them, and reshipping them to other locations.

After the initial contact, I received two emails: one containing an onboarding video and another with a link to an employment contract. Since I had been actively searching for work for the past few months, the opportunity appeared legitimate and I initially moved forward with the process.

However, after conducting additional research into Swiftora Logistics and the nature of the position, I discovered that the company appears to be fraudulent and part of a reshipping scam. I have since stopped all communication and do not intend to continue any involvement with the company.

They contacted me about a work from home job in shipping and logistics. They offered a wage that seemed fairly unreasonable for the job I am being asked to do. The website links and information seemed sketchy when discussing forms of payment that ranged from direct deposit, PayPal, or Western Union.

A "HR Representative" from Swiftora Logistics called and made a job offer using my legal first and last name. I assumed it was legit but found out very quickly that it is a known scam. I was hooked by the information/payrate that they were selling. They received a front/back image of my DL plus a selfie holding my DL. Attached is the "contract" that was sent to me with all the info.

They called me from the number (505) 578-2644 about a job offer, and told me I got accepted to the job. They sent me this pdf of sorts. I put in my name, phone number, and took a picture of myself and ID as they told me to. Later on I went to my mom about the job as it felt off. She told me to withdraw my application quickly and cancel any preorders as the whole company was a scam. Later on I looked up the company name and it got flagged instantly. Then I saw that I need to report this to fraud catchers.
