was contacted by a Mitch Gaines (fake name) to ship lighting poles, shipped to Honolulu HI. I was given the name of the preferred shipping company, "Swift Delivery Logistics". The fake shipping company has stolen the identity of a real company, "Swift Delivery AND Logistics" including the use of their location and similar website content, but dropping the "AND" from the URL. I was told that the shipment was only to be sent through this company, and that I needed to prepay the shipping to reserve the freight. The scam is that this person (Mitch Gaines) orders materials, and asks you to prepay the shipping. He gives you the "fake" shipping company email and phone number which are for a Mitch Gaines and Matt Evans sends an invoice for shipping, and Mitch/Matt pressure you to pay the invoice. As soon as that is done, he (Mitch or Matt, might be the same person) cancels the product order and blocks your calls and emails. Luckily we figured this out before any product was shipped.
