They reached out to me through Messenger. I gave her my name and address. She said she was awarding me $50,000.00 from her winning the Powerball in Michigan. She said she wanted to help the poor, old and those in need. I was suspicious after I gave her my information and she told me not to tell anyone about this and proceeded to send me a photo of a cashbox with money.

Edwin Castro claimed he was giving $100,000 to the first 200 people to respond. Being the post was only minutes old, I responded. About a week later he said I was a winner and would be in contact with me in a few days about how to claim the cash or check for $100,000.

He just asked for my name, address, email. Is this a scam?

I had a friend request from an agent from PCH. Maybe I won something so I accepted the friend request and he replied within minutes. Our conversation was that I had been chosen to win 20 million dollars and a brand new car. I just needed to pay 100. for a processing fee through an apple money card. Our conversation went on I asked if he was scamming me and how can he prove to me hes not scamming me. Wheres he and his team located he would not answer those question just said hes telling the truth and when can I send the card and receipt. He said he could get me my winnings and the new mercedes within four hours after they have the card and receipt of 100. Dollars. I asked when could they pick up the card from me and he did not answer that. Where where they located and he said I need to give them my address. He could get me my winnings today. I had told him I am not home but two hours north of my home city visiting my son. He asked if Id go to a store now and get the card and said I cant until my son gets back from work with a car Im not in walking distance to a store. He asks what time I can get the card to him so he can send out his team to me. I think I said 4 today and ask if he and his team can pick up the card around that time. No response. I am still in conversation with him yet but thought while I have the time I would check him out. PCH say they will never ask for any money when a person wins. He just ask what time can I get the card. A lot of no responses to my questions, I figure this is a scam to get some money and some of my information.

She showed me a check which read $15000. She also showed pictrues from their last winner, ******** *******. She texted me saying I "have nothing to be worried about as soon you get the card ready your winnings will be delivered to your doorstep". She wants an Apple Card.

Received a cell phone call that came up as Restricted from a Jeff Johnson, Prize director from Publishers Clearing House. I told him I did not enter. He said my cell phone number came up and that I won 5.5l mil. and that I would receive $5,000 every week and a 2024 cherry redo Mercedes along with a free gas card. He said has phone number was (516) 308-9720. He told me to buy two Amazon gift cards at $500.00 each. Initially he said it would cost me $ 10.00 as a service fee. Then the story changed that I would have to changed that I would have to pay $1,000 with my debit card. That I should show the UPS driver the Amazon gift cards. The next day which was a Mon. he told me to go to the bank and pay them $1,000 as a registration fee for the IRS.

He also asked me to read the claim codes from the 2 cards. Thankfully I could not find them. When I told him I was no longer interested he called me multiple times asking for the claim codes. I was unable to block the calls on my phone so I just turned off.

Today someone who was supposedly Jeff Johnsons boss whose phone # did come up as (919) 993-8141. I told him I was not interested and not to call me again

In the meantime I found the claim code, called Amazon and had the $1,000 applied to my account
