VP Publishers Clearinghouse. I am supposed to call and talk to David Godson, my claims agent. The check is a sponsorship check to help with expenses related to handling and processing the winnings. The letter is to be kept confidential until the winnings are distributed. I do play PCH, but this isn't them.

I seem to have a scam come through and I do want to report this. They told me I won $2.5 million and that the Federal Trade Commission out of California has it on hold until I follow these things that I have to do to be able to get it. And they sent me documents from the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau, and the IRS. And they told me I didn't have to pay any taxes until you file your taxes for the year. She sent me by email all these documents. So far they've not asked for any kind of money or my bank account. I'm like, I know not to do that. But I thought, are they going this far now, sending you supposedly government document?

This woman has been calling and texting me claiming I was eligible for a lot of money but in order to receive it I would have to go buy some Vanilla visa gift cards and give her the gift card number to get my money. She says she from California and she want to help people. I know this is a scam.

I saw a pop-up ad that used Stephen King to advertise a particular Amazon Kindle for promoting learning. I entered myself in the drawing that they had, and they wanted my card information. I gave them my information, and it said that it was denied. A rep from the company by the name of Marrell N. contacted me and I had told her that I wanted to cancel. She gave me a code that verify that the cancellation was successful. I hung and called the ScamPulse.com to report the matter. They used the phone number: 866-856-6923 and email address: [email protected]

I asked for blank checks to pay income tax on my winnings. My Aunt sent one check which she wrote out to the IRS/person's name. And blank checks for both of her banks. She was luck that the correspondence was returned undeliverable. Person's name and address was John Wilson 463 Spring Hollow Dr Middletown DE 19709 04/23/25. My Aunt has moderate dementia and has lost money (around $10,000) to these scammers before. I also caught them trying to take $39,000 out of her account last year at this time. They also gave her the name Roy Freeman and address 312 Glynn Ave Houma, La 70363 as a certified winner and Linda Pribe 3601 Hill Ave, Lot 194 Toledo OH 43607 as a new address for Publishers Clearing House. This is all information that she wrote down. I block the calls before and have changed her home phone number. I think they are calling her cell phone because she still has the same cell phone number. Praying on the elderly is a heinous crime.

This person claiming to be the lottery winner from 2015 named Julie Leach wanted to randomly give me $300,000 and kept insisting that I gave them my address and my phone number. Being nice was not their first language from their responses when I refused to do such things. I did report it to Facebook and Facebook said they removed that person's account.
