Supreme Trainer Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lagrange, IN, USA

My boss, the head of HR for our school corporation, received an email from SupremeTrainer as if the name " Lisa A. Bell" were the one sending it to her. This is an imposter name, as we actually have a "Li** ***ll" who overseas the region's co-op offices, and has offered us legit training in the past. Clearly they hoped we would glance at the name and trust it, which we did. So I signed up for their "IRS Form 940 Update: Employer's Annual FUTA Tax Return" - which cost around $129.00 (~134 with out of country processing charge) for the live and recorded version. My credit card tried to block it, but we thought it was an issue with the card, so we used another card and then our billing's department was instructed to let it through. After I was signed up, we noticed things were fishy, so the HR director looked into it, and we discovered that our billing department was also charged an international charge for running the credit card. This was the first big clue, because they claim to be based in Delaware on their site. Then I tried to call them to cancel the purchase and get a refund, and the person who answered did not disclose their name or position, and claimed, that no manager was on duty to discuss these issues with me, but that they would call back within the hour. I never received another call, and when I attempted to call back, the line would not be answered. I took to email to request the refund, and they asked me the reason, as well as if I had reviewed their refund policy - the policy only denied refunds for the recorded version (among other reasons not pertaining to my situation) but NOT to the combined version of live & recorded, yet they stopped responding and never refunded our school when I brought this to light. My co-worker in the billing department was forced to cancel the credit card we had used, in order to stop the charge, as the credit card company was concerned that they would keep our card information and use it in the future. When I received invites to join this training, it ended up being rescheduled, and then the rescheduled emails would show links that I was supposed to click on to be redirected to the training, as well as a PDF that I was supposed to download. In their emails their English writing skills progressively declined, which makes me believe even further that this company is out of the states and not legit.
