I was at a website for a free TV app. A pop-up occurred when I registered with that company and stated they needed my payment info for free activation. It wasn't free and my bank account was charged $34.96. The number provided on the bank transcriptor was 888-839-0522. I called and they stated they would refund the amount. I asked for an email to confirm. I received an email stating the account was canceled. When I called back, I was told the refund would take 7-10 business days. It is still pending in my bank account. My bank can only do something about it when it posts.

I noticed $34.90 debited from my checking account on 11/15/23 from an unknown source. I called the number attached to the debit the next day and discovered this is a gaming site called Zudzx. I have never "gamed" and knew it was some type of mistake. The person I spoke with said they would credit the $34.90 back within 7-10 days. I waited for over a month and called back on 12/14/23, at which time they told me they would "escalate" the refund and I would see it in 7-10 days. I also sent two emails. I received nothing. I called back a third time on 1/23/24 and was told the credit/refund was initiated twice, but was rejected. Over 2 months later, and I have not received a refund/credit.
