Students Service Center Reports & Reviews (4)

They call me nonstop. Today I chose to speak with them. When I started asking questions about their company, they hung up. Hopefully, they will stop calling. They never got a chance to ask me for money. Answer my questions if you are legitimate.

I got a text message on or about 7/8/19. The text claimed the could get my student loan discharged/forgiven. After a bunch of questions and answers they determined that I did qualify for total forgiveness of my student loan, they could discharge over $20000 worth of student loan debt for just a fee of $800. I paid them 800.00 on my credit card.Just the other day I got a letter from my government student loan office saying it was time to update my information, income etc. to see if I would still have to make the same amount or change my loan payment. I called my student loan company and they said that they NEVER have third parties working to forgive student loans, if a student loan is forgiven there will/would be NO fees involved. I spoke to my credit card company and since it was over a year it can't be automatically credited but I could put in a dispute with them and they would investigate the charge.

I was called and they left a message. I contacted them and they ended up charging me $900 to file student loan forgiveness and income driven payment information. They did enroll me in the forgiveness program but they used false information to get a income driven payment of $54.78. When they wanted to charge me another $400 to reapply for 2020, I decided to try it myself. With the information I sent in, my new payment would be $591.79. That is an increase of over 10 fold when my income did not change. I was assured that I could pay this small amount in and still have loan forgiveness in 120 payments. Fedloan.gov told me that at the end of the program, it would have been audited and I would have been disqualified from the program. By that point I would be further in debt than before and trying to retire. I am 54 years old and still paying off student debt and these people did not help my situation. These people are preying on desperate people so PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!
