I am writing to report a suspicious and likely fraudulent call I received from the number 833-224-0004. A person identifying herself as Kimberly Saxon left a voicemail on my husband’s mobile phone, instructing me to return a call to 912-380-7084 ext. 403. When I returned the call, Kimberly Saxon answered immediately—without requiring me to enter the extension. She stated she had just finished a call with another client and needed to put me on hold to “access my account.” Shortly after, a man joined the call and began asking for personal information, claiming I owed a debt on a credit card I have never possessed. He further stated that a letter had been sent to me via USPS. I knew this was false because I receive informed delivery emails from USPS, and no such letter was listed. At that point, my husband, who is an attorney, joined the call. He requested proof of the alleged debt and the supposed letter and instructed the caller to cease contact until such proof could be provided. The call was then ended. This appears to be a coordinated scam attempt, and I want to ensure others are made aware of it. Please let me know if there are any additional steps I should take to report this matter or protect my personal information.

A lady in identified as Miss Vivian called me about a past debt through Wells Fargo that she claimed to be an arbitrary pre-litigation with. She said if I did not pay her a portion of the debt owed immediately that she would send me to a company called Prescott and associates to file a lawsuit and a summons would be sent to me to go to court and be sued for $37,000. They said that they would put a lien on my home they would garnish my wages and even levy my bank accounts if I didn't pay at least $8000 right then and there via credit card. When I ask them for legitimacy and some kind of written Proof she got very angry and upset with me and told me they were going to sue me. I called them back several times and it was always the same answer that it was going to be a lawsuit if I didn't pay immediately but they would not send me any written proof.

I received a series of phone calls leaving detailed information of civil lawsuit from Star point Prelitigation Service.. They claimed it was filed and they made attemps to get it to me without success. The debt is 17year old debt from Illinois for a auto loan along with a 17yr old address. Some how they have my new address. I called Mitchell Tainer as requested and he told me all of this information of money they want to sue me for. I asked for proof and he refused and said all he can tell me is that it was filed in 2016.

I told him I had no this is a 17year old account. He wanted me to pay right then and there. I told him I don't have it. He asked when could I told him I cant pay no more than 50 to $100 a month. Im on a fixed income and I could have that on the first. He said it would have to be 200. I agreed. I asked him to email me a statement and he sent me this generic looking settlement offer letter.

I called back on the 3rd and was forwarded to a Liz Oneal at NAA Prelitgation Services and she ran the same script which had me scared. I asked the same for proof and she stated that all she can do is send me the final receipt when its fully paid off. At this point she didn't want the 200 she was looking for half of what I owed (17 years ago). I asked her about other payment options and she said credit over the phone is the only way. She was getting short with me and kept asking "what you going to do"? I paid the 200. She said she was emailing me the settlement letter with receipt. I told her I had not received the email yet. She said its still processing. I called back 30 minutes later and no one was answering any of the numbers I called. I called the day after no anwser again at none of the numbers. I did notice when I called the first time the knew who I was without me saying who I was.
