The site www.starsiberiankittensfoundation.com is a scam, unfortunately. Luckily, our bank blocked the Zelle transfer, otherwise we would be out of money. The fraud department at the bank confirmed that this Zelle recipient has been flagged many time as a scammer. Their Zelle name is Vera Awasum, their Zelle email is [email protected]. I almost fell for this scam myself, but was saved because of this review. They do not actually have Siberian kittens. The email they use even misspells Siberian as "serberian" as I'm sure they have had to change the email many times. Their website looks good, actually, but if you google their testimonials, you will find identical testimonials (including names) on other scam websites. One actually is for Siamese kittens and looks otherwise identical to this one, at https://www.josiessiamesekittens.com. Anyways, when I asked for an updated photo of the kitten they claimed to have, they just didn't respond. I kept asking, and they sent a video of a different cat playing with a toy, so its face would not be visible. They probably found this somewhere on the internet. They ask for quick payment, and claim the kitten will be sent the next day, which of course won't happen since they don't have the kittens.

We wanted to buy a pure bred Siberian kitten, cost $800, through Zelle, and immediate transaction service. We talked to the breeder on the phone, so it seemed legit. The woman used several fake names and multiple numbers, which seemed suspicious. Another scam website called https://www.statespettransport.com/track-form/ was used to make us believe the kitten was being shipped. The company attached to the shipping company was called STATES TRANSPORT COURIER DELIVERY SERVICE DEPARTMENT and emailed us saying they needed another $760 for a COVID-safe crate for the kitten. We texted the number they gave us and refused to pay using Zelle and they stopped texting. Then we accused the woman of being a scam and she got offended and told us she was at the airport trying to fix things with the shipping. We called her and she didn't answer, we texted, no response. We called her one last time and the number was discontinued. We never received the kitten and were heartbroken. The kitten is still available on her website, listed as AVAILABLE.

The website promises 13 week old kittens that are ready to go, and claim they are certified by TICA. They will email / text you pictures and videos of the supposed cat, have you answer a questionnaire to have you "approved" and then ask you to pay them first $650 via Zelle. Then they send you pet transport info in which they ask for even more money ($750 via Western Union) to accommodate a special transport crate, at which point I called them out for the scam. They disconnected 3 numbers they were using, and stopped answering the only number left.
