I was trying to purchase a pitbull puppy from what appeared to be a legit website. i got in contact with them they even sent me a pic and a short video of the puppy. Payment was arranged via Zelle after verification of name and address where the puppy wasto be shipped. Upon sending the money i got confirmation that the dog was at the shipper and that the shipper would be calling me to confirm flight info for the dog. few moments later the shipper emailed me a document to sign to for ownership, not to long after signing they emailed me back stating that the dog needed insurance to travel and required $1600 dollars more that would be refunded back to me upon receipt of the dog. I told them i was not about to do that to which they said its a law and what not. i contacted the seller who said they have just gotten wind of the situation and was unaware. ( how are you unaware if you said you use this shipper all the time?) right away i demanded a refund to which i have never received. so my $ 960 lost is knowledge for the rest of the internet community.
