I received an email about a membership for Norton Lifelock trial ending. I called the number provided 833 505 1127. After it rang a few seconds it went to VM. I hung up and received a phone call from 804 238 7948 and was told to save it as David Coleman. I was told in order to cancel it a had to download an app so he could gain remote access to my phone to be able to cancel it. I was very reluctant to do so but he kept pressuring me. I have him access and he proceeded to take 100 dollars from my checking account and borrowed 25 dollars through cash app then transferred it to bitcoin. He told me that I would get the money back as I told him I don’t have much money and i desperately needed it back and kept telling me I would get it back. That was all the money I had. This happened 3/24/25. He tried to get more money from my credit card but was not able to. He attempted to buy 100 dollar gift card from Walmart but that failed. He told me that he was going to send the money back and to call him back in 10 minutes. I called him back and he said he was still working on it and to call back in 30 minutes. I called back and told me again that he was still working on it and he would call me back. I called him back a few more times and each time he told me he was working on it. The last time he said he was driving which I know he was driving from the background noise. I tried to call him back today 3 times and no answer. I caked cash app support and made a report.
